Great service in this coffee spot on Clarendon. I came in early on a Monday to get a coffee fix and a snack and staff were super friendly and raring to go at the beginning of the week. I love when a place is honest about not ordering something that isn’t quite up to scratch on that day, on this occasion their cold drip! Managed to get a snack and a hot choc instead and left happy. I’ll definitely be coming back for a proper breakfast!
I used to go here a lot when I had meetings in South Melbourne so it was nice to go back here and still be good. It feels like a coffee museum with various machines and grinders throughout.
There's lot of seating, and is popular with the local workers. It's not a hipster coffee place, but it's very classic.

Hard pressed to find a cheap breakfast cafè in the area. However if you are looking for a qualaty feed this place was great. Ordered the Garden Breakfast and it was big and delicious. Plenty of space for large geoups and couldn't fault the friendly staff and the service. Highly recommend.
100% favourite cafe in Melbourne. Nothing to fault-great service, amazing lay out and ofcourse most importantly, perfect Coffee-especially if you like your Coffee strong (which I definitely do)!!
GREAT COFFEE! The only place I discovered in South Melbourne that has Milklab almond milk. Thank-you. Staff is wonderful and service is great. Cosy fire in the back and the smell of roasted coffee beans fill the air.
Fabulous Café. Food is fresh healthy and delicious. The coffee is among the finest in Melbourne and the atmosphere comfortable and friendly along with great service.
This place makes hands down the best espresso I've had in Australia. The moment I drink it I feel like I'm back in Napoli. They also sell their own beans which I've tried a few times and they're great quality. Highly recommended.

One of Melbourne gems, great Coffey and atmosphere. Service is great, smiles all around, I didn't like feta in my smashed Avo but that is a personal preference. Coffee was great.
I love the food here it is very filling and delicious! The iced latte is very well done, the setting and the atmosphere is amazing and comforting! Worth the time spent here!
i come by this little coffee place almost daily, great coffee :) havent eatten much from this place though but i enjoy the atmosphere & the staffs are always nice which is great.

I absolutely love this place. After searching around for about a week, I stopped looking for my coffee hub when I had a Mokka here.
Mark and Carola provide a service as professional and friendly as you can only ask for and the place is simply stunning. Highly recommend going inside and checking out the venue, it is wort a look!

My Dad and I were actually intending to go to a different cafe for coffee but liked the look of the exterior of this cafe better. As soon as we opened the door we were welcomed by an incredible aroma and fantastic staff. I had the cold drip and it did not disappoint in any way. There was no bitter aftertaste like many cold brews I have had before and staff definitely know their coffee beans. A must-stop for anyone in Melbourne looking for great coffee
What an amazing place!! I’ve always loved Dimattina coffee, however after visiting I have a new appreciation for the passion, enthusiasm and expertise that the staff exhibit there. Absolutely amazing place to go and try new blends of coffee, and get exceptional service there. Thank you so much to Laura and her staff for looking after us, we will be frequent vistors there!! If you are hesitant about visiting, I strongly urge you to reconsider, this is an absolutely phenomenal place. Can’t wait too see all the staff again :)
Coffee is awesome, they even worked out a way to make the chai I order stronger... Could still be a bit stronger but they tried at least and I would order it again. Look forward to eating there one day too.
The staff are the real stars here though. So knowledgeable' friendly and chatty. Laura, Mia and Italian accented girl are literally the best cafe staff around and such a great suppottive team. Just try and have a bad morning around them!
