Such a fantastic first day back dining in restaurants, I’ll never take this for granted ever! We finished the night with the most delicious pancakes! The pancakes were so thin and yet fluffy with such amazing crispy edges! The staff are AMAZING, you would never believe they’ve just been through (and continue to go the rough) some of the most challenging times ever for hospitality BUT make their customers feel so valued and welcome, such a fantastic night!!

1. “Build Your Own Dessert Pancake” - 1 Pancake with Strawberries
2. Dark Hot Chocolate
I really love Stoker's. It really is the only place you can chill, have a chat and coffee at 10pm. The owner is super nice and friendly too. It's just got such a good atmosphere. The music is always good (also not too loud so you can actually have a conversation). And on top of all that, it's really delicious. They have sweet and savoury options, yummy coffee and a good selection if you want a wine or beer. Definitely recommend.
My new favourite dessert place is @stokersfinepancakes in South Melbourne. I love how the pancakes are thinner than the average pancake and the fillings are tucked within the layers. This means every bite is full of flavour! We ordered the caramel pear, caramel spiced apples and the banana flambe. Try the pancake chips too! The servings are big, you can even share one plate between two or three plates between four. The ambience is super warm and homely - perfect for catch ups or a sneaky date. Oh they also have wine and whisky if you want to end your dessert with a night cap. My kind of place. 🥂😂
Delightful and hearty pancake dishes in a quaint little cafe. Really enjoyed every element of the bechamel cauliflower pancakes, and the quirky wall decorations. I do think salt and pepp on the tables would be a nice touch.
Stokers served both sweet and savoury pancakes and were open most days until midnight, making it a great late night hang out/dessert joint. Their pancakes were more of a crepe-consistency and style, although their savoury pancakes were more burrito-style than that of a galette. Regardless of what you’d call them, both were equally delicious and satisfying. Service was always friendly, and their wooden décor although felt a bit dated made the ambiance cosy. Stokers was always one of my top dessert destinations.
I swear to god, this photo doesn’t do this pancake joint justice, y’all really need to give it a go. Friendly staff amazing food & live music on Wednesday night, what more can we ask for? Absolutely rate this place!!!
4.5 Where to go for pancakes? There are not many places that specializes and made a name for serving up pancakes. This institution is one of them, setting themselves apart from the competition with thin pancakes instead of the regular thick stacks of pancakes. When I first heard of this place and glanced through the photos I thought to myself, isn’t this crepes instead of pancakes? I then learned that crepes are a form of very thin pancakes so whichever it is, let’s find out how they stack up against the mainstream contender.
Ordered ubereats w them a few times now, always gets monkey business. I am not sure why it’s called pancakes when it’s actually a crepe so I got really really disappointed and annoyed the first time because I REALLY wanted pancakes. Like thick, fluffy round pancakes. But once I got used to the idea that this ain’t no pancakes, they are actually really yummy.
Came here late one night for dinner.
They are open to midnight most nights.
Friendly service and at the time we went the food came out fast.
I got the chicken and corn pancake and it was really good.
Generous serving size and soft fluffy pancakes.
Went in as a group of 4. We all tried out their breakfast/brunch range. We were all impressed. All agreed that the food was better than Pancake Parlour. So gooooooood!!
Coffee was decent too
Come to this place for your pancake cravings!!
We ordered a savoury and a sweet pancake to share and both were tasty!
The cheesy cauliflower was our favourite, the pancake was so thin almost like a crepe, cheese melting down with the soft cauliflower... just the best combo ever! The nutella banana pancake was yum too. Not too sweet but I wish there were more banana!
The staff and owner were all super friendly. Apparently they offer great coffee too, will be back!
+ Bailey’s chocolate shake
+ Caramel spiced apple pancake
Popped by here for something sweet, and we have not been to this branch of Stokers before. The ambience was welcoming, as was the staff. We shared a shake and a pancake and both were delicious and not overly sweet. The pancakes were crepe like, and the generous caramel sauce was not too sweet and balanced well with the spiced apples. Really nothing to complain about here and it’s certainly a good place to park and chat with some friends after dinner. Will be back to try out some of the other offerings.
Had the monkey business pancakes from Uber eats. It was wrapped with mashed bananas and drizzled in Nutella. Very yummy and the only downside was that the pancakes were really thin and portion side was small.
Food is very great, nice place to hang, staff is very friendly. Definitely try the banana flambe pancake, theyll burn the pancake on your table it was so cool. Price is reasonable, and the place is very cozy to chill.
Loved the experience of this small pancake house! We were greeted by a super friendly wait staff and ordered our coffees straight away. She came back and took our order with efficiency. We ordered the Sausage & Apple Breakfast Pancake served with a side of Scambled Eggs as well as a small serving (which was crazy large) of Pancake Chips! Food was fast and a good portion size, the ambience was warm, friendly and I'd definitely come back again with a good book and curl up along their couches. A great first experience, will be back here.
We had Hot Jam and Cream (sweet pancake) with add on ice cream and it was definitely one of the best pancakes in Melbourne! The hot jam is a little too sweet for me but everything else was perfect!
The customer service there was good too as the stuff brought us water right when we got our table. The place is cozy and homey, a really good spot for catch ups and dates. Can’t wait to go back for other pancakes 🥞
A perfect hybrid between a pancake and a crepe. I usually prefer crepes over pancakes, however this completely blew my mind.
Must try the golden syrup and butter pancakes - simple yet effective. The chai latte was also delicious! Amazing food and excellent customer service.
A friend and I came here for brunch (afterwards we realised it was in the entertainment book!) and I ordered the spiced apple pancakes. This was a fabulous choice as they are drizzled with salted caramel, delicious.
Do not go here without getting the large serving of the notable crispy crunchy pancake chips. It sounds random but they are seriously sensational especially with the salty creamy vegemite dipping sauce. They are also open late on the weekends so you can pick some up takeaway on the way home replacing the maccas run (or is that just me).
Original review
Having been here before and raved about the pancake chips with Vegemite dipping sauce ever since I insisted my team meet there for breakfast one morning before heading to work. We all got there at 9am and realised it doesn't open until 10. Very strange who eats breakfast that late during the week?
Take 2 I called them the next week and asked if they could possibly open at 9 for us given we were a large group. They were able to accomodate and finally I spread the joy of Vegemite mayo to the masses. Got the berry pancakes too which are one of their signatures and have the scrumptious addition of Nutella.
Keen to go back and try the pancake nachos too
Super friendly staff.quick service.
Extensive menu of savoury and sweet pancakes.
Open till midnight with great lattes and coffee.
We had the spiced apple caramel pancakes, was amazing.
Love having this place for warm comfort food so close to home.
Curly fries were delicious, likewise the pancakes! Cute little cafe, but went on a really busy Sunday morning so the service was a little slow. Overall, would give this place a 4/5.

We looked through zomato review and saw a lot of positive review so we gave it a go. This place has an old school vibe. The staff was really friendly. We had one sweet and savoury crepes they were yum! I preferred the sweet one!
Real rating 4.25 ⭐️
We had stumbled across Stokers through Zomato and thought we would try it early this year. The reviews I had seen did not lie!
Chicken mornay pancake - why have I not tried this sooner in my life? The shredded chicken with mornay sauce was such an epic combo as I could feel the milkiness of the sauce attacking my mouth!
Monkey business - filled with Nutella and chunky mashed banana, what could go wrong? It didn’t, it went right instead with the fluffiness of the crepe complementing the elements hidden inside this gem! The ice cream was a perfect addition to finish me off!
Overall, we had a fabulous time and would love to visit again to try the rest of their menu - there seems to be quite a few choices! 😎
Lemon and sugar pancake. Came here a year ago! So i think thats the correct name for the dish. The pancake is really soft and light. Not too sweet yet not too bland as well. I had 1 there and 1 for takeaway. The lemon and the sugar+ the whipped cream + the pancake balance one to the other and create a lovely taste

Came to this place yesterday after dinner with my friend. He has been there for a few times, so he strongly recommended me to try the pancakes there. We ordered berry berries and monkey business, delicious, but forgot to order one extra ice cream, will do it next time👍
Very quiet for a lunch time which sometimes can be a bad sign. However it was not, everything was really nice including the pancake ‘chips’ that I was very apprehensive about. Shame the lunch special isn’t on anymore. Beef burger had more flavour than the chicken burger. Very nice chai latte. Funny adventure time poster on the wall, made me smile and sing

Amazingly delicious pancakes!
I highly recommend any one of the sweet pancakes. We chose the flambé banana pancakes, and they really did spectacularly deliver in terms of experience and flavour.
The pancake chips was a new one for me, and quite tasty. The burger/wrap itself is well made and I didn’t have any issues with the quality!
Great tasting crepes and pancakes. Nestled within a tiny shop in South Melbourne you find a small and trendy little shop churning out great tasting deserts.
For us, we opted for the Raspberry White Chocolate Pancake which was folded. It was delicious and the chocolate when served warm just melted in your mouth. That in conjunction with the berries made up for a delightful post dinner treat.
The hot chocolates were a little disappointing however and both tasted as it was warm milk combined with some hot chocolate/cocoa powder mixed together. This doesn't appear to be a forte of Stokers and was the only downside. Service is good but a little decluttering would probably enable a couple more seats to be squeezed in on a busy night!
Compact and cozy space. The service is warm and friendly. The crepes are top quality, I’ve tried lemon and sugar and hot jam doughnut and both are amazing! I’m a coffee drinker, but in here I always order the chai latte, it’s one of the best out there, the real thing, none of that powdered stuff.
Tried the peanut butter chocolate log and I really enjoyed it. Not tooo sweet and the ice cream compliments it well ❤ The serving is a bit small but good enough.
Mothers day lunch saw us arrive with a party of six people.
The place itself is rather compact and probably would struggle to fit 20 or more people in but the compactness makes the place.
The staff were friendly enough and patient.
Everyone was happy with their chosen options, expect one son who didn't like his mushed up banana.
I will say that I never thought pulled pork wrapped in pancake would taste as good as it did.
Would certainly visit again and a yes from us.
We gave this place a try for Saturday lunch after locating it in the Entertainment Book. It was a very warm, cosy and quiet place making it great to unwind and get away from the busy South Melbourne market a couple of streets away. I had the pulled pork pancakes which I thoroughly enjoyed. If you like pickles/mustard, the stuff that gets you salivating, this dish might be for you. Serving size was sufficient, not too filing or left craving for more. I got to try some of my partner's parma which had a rather succulent schnitzel and unusual pancake fries. Not sure if I prefer these over the normal fries but it was an interesting change.
Amazing hot chocolates and chai lattes. Small cute place not so easily noticed, happy it opens late and the manager is a gentlemen. The pancakes are exquisite and unique, definitely recommended
Such a wonderful experience! Great service and delicious food. I tried the chicken burger and savoury pancakes. Cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend this place after a night out.
Food: 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5
We ordered the Berry Berries pancakes, the Stokers Big Breakfast and a strong soy latte. The flavours in the berry pancakes were delicious and not overly sweet. On a more savoury note, the big breakfast was very filling however we only wished that there was more bacon. Finally, we were very pleased to confirm that their latte was good.
Service: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Our waitress was helpful however as there were only 2 wait staff on hand it took a little longer to gain their attention.
Price: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Reasonably well priced for good quality dishes.
Pancake chips definitely carried the team here 😂 ONE OF A KIND CHIPS and SAWABI MAYOO?!!?!! So delicious with those chips🤤 my berry berries pancake was average and so was stockers big breakfast. We definitely had bigger breakfast before HAHAHA
Opens late. Nice cozy spot which doesn't seat that many people. Yummy but massive serve. Came here for dessert - recommend sharing if you've already had dinner.
Good savoury pancakes, a fine selection of sweet pancakes and good coffee. Mind blowing? Prolly not but definitely a great neighbourhood pancake joint that deserves patronage.
Great late night place to have pancakes, they are open till late, have a nice interior and have a fantastic list of tasty pancakes. We looked at the menu and found it hard to pick from the delicious options. We ended up ordering the signature Banana flambe pancakes, the jam donut and one of the specials. The pancakes tasted great and arrived quickly, The hot chocolate was the only thing that did not make an impression otherwise I will be back to sample more!
Great service and great little cafe set up. I loved the soundtrack that was playing in the background too. The pancakes themselves were pretty tasty! The Croque Madame was super filling and did not agree with my lactose intolerance but totally worth the pain haha. Will be back to try the sweets next time!
Can't say anthing more I LOVE THIS PLACE. Omg the space is super cozy, well decorated and extremely easy to find. It may look quite small from the outside but there are enough tables for everyone. The staff and service is on point. The guy was super friendly and we found no difficulties ordering our food and paying our bill.
Me and my sister went here this afternoon and we ordered a Caramel Spiced Apple Pancake, which costed us $16.9. The dessert came out with two large pancakes, artistically presented with caramel sauce and whipped cream. The hot crispy pancake with a slight taste of sourness of apple inside perfectly combined with the richness of cream and crunchiness of walnut, all melted in my mouth, beautifully and delicately. Even after 15 20 minutes or so, the pancake was still quite warm and I didn't feel tired of the taste or anything. I just wish they could add more spice next time because when I order something with spice I usually expect it to be bold and intense.
Overall, really worth the price! I really love it! The pancake is quite big so it should be shared, but if you like to chill and have a nice decent plate, just go for it! Can't wait to visit this place a second time!
I cant fault this place, at least not during this visit. Service was spot on. Super friendly and very welcoming from start to finish.
Food came out relatively quick. And it was so good. Burger was a big surprise. I knew the pancakes would be great, but I really enjoy the burger and will order that again.
Well worth the visit.
Always a good time at stokers. Throughout the years I've moved to different suburbs but I will always travel back to stokers and here's why: Great place to catch up with friends because this place is cozy and intimate. Gets quite busy at times but the noise level is not an issue which is why I love bringing friends here because you can actually have a conversation without screaming at each other. Opens quite late so it's perfect for the night owls. Big portion, perfect for sharing. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. Love the banana flambe but it can get too rummy at times. Love the matcha latte too!I would recommend trying the caramel spiced apple crepe. It's delicious!
Really nice late night food, good vibe with open fire inside and friendly staff. Me and my girlfriend have been back multiple times since our first visit! Good coffee also, would highly recommend.
The PB Chocolate pancake we ordered was yum yum, the sauce was awesome! Pulled pork pancakes was okay, the pulled pork was blanketed with ham & served with rocket salad.
We witnessed how the staff dealt with customer complaints, it was very professional. Would def come back again.
Omg this place was amazing and it was a complete fluke. Thank you google for this gem. Open late too which is great. The PB Chocolate Log was amazing. I'm not a fan of PB usually believing the taste is too overpowering but the combination was the perfect mix between PB and chocolate. The white chocolate and berries was very good too but the fillings were abit inconsistent.
Staff were very friendly and fun
Calm laid back relaxed environment. Good for a chill
Looking forward to returning in a few months (to see the new exciting creations)Betty Joy
This is a great little late night pancake house for when the cravings hit and there's nothing else open. I had the caramel spiced apples pancake and it was delicious. I love the fireplace and low lighting for a cosy and intimate ambience.
I went here with the Meetup group after dinner last night. Heheh it was funny and awkward with the ordering because the waitress kept coming to our table and we weren't ready to order and when we were she walked away to give another table their pancakes 🥞. We all ordered the special which was a pancake log filled with chocolate and peanut with a shortbread crumb. We decided to share them between two people because we were pretty full from Colonel Tan's. The pancakes were delicious and decadent but I couldn't taste the peanut butter, the other people said they could taste it though. The pancake also was more like a crepe but I didn't mind. I didn't eat the ice cream on the side because it was icy and it tasted like home brand ice cream.
I was going to order a tea but they were $5.50 each!!! That's a ridiculous amount to pay for tea, even if it's loose leaf 🍃. The lady working here was ok but the man was friendlier. Hahaha I thought I locked myself in the toilet, they should look into those locks. I'd probably come back one day and try something different.
Amazingly good food (had caramelised apple pancakes today but poached pear, monkey business, pulled pork are great too - don't think there even can be a bad choice), and very friendly service. Returning there pretty regularly whenever I crave pancakes. Highly recommended
Laid back place perfect for late supper or dessert. Pancakes were yum just not your typical one where its thick and fluffy. Thin almost like a crepe yet it had a pancake texture. Pretty mixed with their pancakes. Guess u need the sides i.e. the spiced poached pear bring it all together. The rich caramelised sauce gets soaked into pancake making it soft spicy and sweet laying it all over my palette. To have it as dessert at the end, I was satisfied. Note that the pancakes are nothing special, it is simply comfort food to me.
Lovely cozy restaurant. The pancake chips were unique and delicious!
Great place to bring kids with lots of crowd pleasers like the ham and cheese options. We also had a vegetarian friend with us who was satisfied with the number of options available to him.
Simply the best dessert and savoury pancakes on the market. Great prices. Big servings. Quirky atmosphere. Don't waste yr money at the Pancake Parlour. Everyone needs to try Stokers. You won't be disappointed
Having such a sweet tooth, the photos alone of this place caught my eyes and I was hooked.
Came here one night with a couple of friends for dinner and pancakes. I ordered the following:
Food:
• Mr Big
• Berry Berries
Drinks:
• Mocha
First things first I have to point one little flaw with the service. My friends and I came for dinner and only the pancake menu was given. I had to personally ask for the burger menu which was stupid in my opinion and wasn't a good start to my night.
Now for the verdict on the burger. I didn't like the burger at all. The bun itself was tasteless. The beef patty did have a good consistency but wasn't anything to rave about. The onions were a nice touch. The only thing that was luscious were the pancake chips. They were just out of this world. Every single one matched with sauce I got elevated my palette on all fronts.
Now for the famous pancakes. They looked particularly fresh and inviting and when consumed they were but I think something was missing. A nut of some sort would of brought the whole dish together. The berries were beautiful Nutella component just worked. It was seriously one cracker of a dish.
My mocha had a great balance of chocolate and coffee to it and with the pancakes, it brought my night up in a good way.
Folding up a fine and isolated place for late night pancakes and a perfect spot to chill with a coffee.
Oh boy, this satisfied my sweet tooth immensely 😛 Delicate crepes paired with glorious caramelised bananas and flambéd before your very eyes, need I say more?
And pro tip - you would definitely want to get a scoop of ice cream with this number 😁👌🏼
Been there on the weekend with family had a hoot of a time great food coffee and Hot chocolate ,will be coming back soon thanks guys for a great tome😃
SOOO YUMMMMMMMYY, arrived at 11:30pm with a welcoming attitude as I walked in. Couldn't decide what to order, until we were offered the special peanut butter and nutella rolled pancake :O 10/10 would go again, thanks so much:)
What an amazing experience!! I've always passed by this place, thinking one day I'll try it out. It's always cosy inside, always people milling around. For food, we ordered berry berries pancake and a cold coffee. Coffee was fine but the pancakes were super amazing!! Will have to come back again to try other pancake variants.
You blew our minds, thank you very much!!!
Great food. Had the pulled pork pancakes, my wife had the pancake crochet Madame. Really yummy. We also had the macha latte which was nice but not my kind of thing. Service was fast and staff friendly. Definitely will visit again.
Super cozy warm environment, staff super chill and friendly. Most importantly pancakes are bomb af.
Forget pancake parlour make the trip to stokers!
Small, cozy and retro, with delicious ham and cheese pancakes for a chilly winter evening. Warm fireplace is a great bonus! Next time I'LL try the sweet pancakes.
Love the pancakes here ! A small hidden gem in South Melbourne. I've had a few different pancakes and my personal favourite is the spice caramelised apple pancake .
Great service and open late all week :)
Just be aware that there may sometimes be a wait for a table.
Went here after dinner for dessert. Small, cosy spot.
Had the special, chocolate peanut butter in crepe log with biscuit crumble and ice cream. Partner had spiced apple with caramel sauce. Apple pancakes was a large serve, not enough caramel sauce. Ice cream was below average. Choc/peanut butter was the more enjoyable one. Neither was anything to rave about, much prefer Breizoz or Pancake Parlour.
Been here for the first time after searching for good coffee. I ordered mocha and it's the best mocha I had in Melbourne. I love the chocolate they used.
Lovely little café m, perfect for catchups. Service was warm, and the pancakes were just great! Love the pulled pork and berry berries, the flavour is there, the sweet one was a tiny bit too sweet. 9 spice Chai is done properly, loved the balance for it wasn't overly sweet. Definitely recommend place for casual catchups and good pancakes!
Simply delicious pancakes. We had the Raspberry White Chocolate and the Caramel Spiced Apple pancakes with Soy Matcha.. Amazing!!! They're both huge portion! We also ordered the pancake fries, it's a must try!
I have a chance to take my quests from overseas to visit Stokers hoping to impress them with reputable pancakes. We try the banana and the berry pancakes and a burger. Surprisingly, it's not the pancakes that impress our group. The burger steals the show. One of my guests is a pilot from Europe. He even says that is one of the best burgers he has had thus far but the pancakes on the other hand are quite disappointing. I have to agree with him. They are not bad but for the price we pay, we expect better. Our group likes their service the most. They are nice and friendly young people with smile. I personally like this place and will probably return to try their pancakes again.
We used to go to pancake parlour for years, not anymore, Stokers is now our favourite Sunday pancake place.
Cozy, warm little cute cafe, friendly staff. Pancakes & Crepes are amazing.
Very cozy atmosphere with very friendly and polite staff. I ordered the shredded pork pancake and was full of flavours. My partner found the peri peri Mayo in his chicken corn pancakes a bit too mild and salad on the side was not dressed, but other than this we enjoyed the overall experience and will definitely go back
Friendly staff and great desserts.
The Raspberry White Chocolate and the Berry Berries pancakes were really nice and surprisingly filling.
The hot chocolate and mocha were so good too.
Definitely not overrated! Great food, service and size. You'll be amazed! Getting sick and tired of big breakfast with sourdough? Try fine slices of pancakes instead!
Friendly staff with a warm and cozy atmosphere. Stokers is a great place to head out to eat no matter what time of the day or the morning, as they are open quite late. The crepes are of great quality and paired with well-complimenting ingredients. The pancake fries that they have were both delicious and unique to me; a pleasant surprise with our sauce of choice - parsley and garlic. The iced tea served here is refreshing and clean. Return is necessary on observing the wide variety of dishes these guys have to offer.
Banana Flambé, nice flavour of rum added to it when serving at table, mash banana in the pancake layer, like the crisp on the side of the pancake, the caramelised banana taste good too, hope to have more almond flakes.
Friendly and attentive staff.
The highlight of Stokers was definitely the pancake chips! You got to try these! Plus they have lots of different sauces - I tried the wasabi Mayo which was good but could have been spicier.
The pancakes were interesting! They were folded up like a crepe and the filling was inside. Not your usual type of pancakes! I definitely want to return and try the Hot Jam pancakes though.
Serving sizes are also huge and generous.
Super nice little cosy cafe on Clarendon St. The brekkie pancakes are really nice but somewhat bland (can be a good or bad thing, depends on preference). I honestly prefer something with more flavour like Roule Galette's.
Coffee is up to Melbourne standards, so no complaints there.
When pancakes marry crepes, the result is Stokers. Came here for a late lunch and unfortunately the Merlot Pears pancakes (imagine pears poached in red wine and vanilla beans) had been sold out. Loved the Caramel Pears version instead. Poached pears lay atop a cross between pancakes and crepes with a generous pouring of salted caramel sauce. The resulting effect was deliciously balanced and not too sweet.
The Pancake Chips and Pancake Chips Nachos on the menu were intriguing. Feels like I have to come back to uncover this mystery.
Friendly service with smiles all round. I love the vintage decor in the front half, especially that clock above the fireplace. This place should be a cosy atmosphere in the depths of winter with comforting pancakes, coffees and burgers.
Come to a very relaxed atmosphere, nice back ground music and good service... all that before you get your food which is fresh and tasty... the variety of both savoury and sweet pancakes it is worth working your way through the menu... especially try the pancake chips... yum!
Was here mainly to try their famous Pancake Chips and we also had their Caramel Spiced Apples Pancakes and Pulled Pork Pancakes. The Pancake Chips were crispy and crunchy, even though I felt that the wasabi mayo could be stronger in flavours. However, it was a tad oily and flour-y so it would be best to finish it when it is warm. As for the mains, the Caramel Spiced Apples Pancakes was absolutely delicious! The pancakes were thin and contained lots of caramelised apples, which were flavoursome and combined very well with the cinnamon, walnuts and salted caramel. Moreover, it was quite filling as the portion served was quite generous and the overall dish was not too overly sweet. The Pulled Pork Pancakes was equally scrumptious, as the pulled pork was tender yet flavourful. The ham, cheese, mustard and garlic mayo combined perfectly together with the pulled pork and the maple syrup provided the tinge of sweetness to complete the wholesome flavours of the savoury dish. As for drinks, we had their Spiced Chai Latte and Iced Coffee, which were both decent. Highly recommended for those who have not tasted Swedish pancakes!
Finally made it to review Stokers, a fantastic pancake-cum-burger location that’s so handily located near the office. Over the last two years, myself and a chunk of the office have ventured in for the iconic pancake chips and massive-portioned burgers. Sometimes the service has been a bit on the slow side on busier days, but we always walk out having had a great time. As well as sheer height, the quality of the ingredients is always top notch and whilst it’s not quite the classic potato fry, the deep fried pancake slices make for an entertaining change of pace.
Great service and good. Pancakes were a cross between crepe and pancake as the sides were crispy and the middle fluffy.
The freak shake wasn't on the menu ! Maybe add it as it's great! Will definitely come back to try savouries =)
I quite like stokers for a good coffee and some delicious pancakes! Try the pancake chips for something different and interesting. The service is ALWAYS great at stokers too, you can tell they love the place. :)

The beef burger was great – good quality wagyu which was lean, fresh salad and toasty bread. It was served with a side of deep fried crepe/pancake chips which were delicious. They probably aren’t healthy, but don’t seem as filling or heavy as regular chips.
The spiced apple pancake was almost like a crepe, and the apple filling was sweet and well spiced (with cinnamon). The pancakes went very well when mixed with the other ingredients of salted caramel, nuts (walnuts and almonds) and of course, ice cream.
Welcomed by smiling and courteous staff. Good options of pancake, well presented. Taste was good and the coffee was excellent. I’d visit again.
My partner’s feedback, she was expecting enough quantity of maple syrup to go well with 2 pancakes, and we paid extra for it. Also, I’d recommend to book table online prior visiting.
Heavenly pancakes. They have ample options for sweet and savoury pancakes. We tried both and they're all equally good. I simply cannot pick a favourite. The coffee was perfect too. The staff are super friendly. It's a lovely date spot. Will definitely be going back.
Great place for pancakes in Melbourne. You can tell from our photos that we went for breakfast, but they have other options for lunch, dinner or dessert.
We were both members for the clean plate club, and left stuffed and satisfied. One thing to know was that I ordered an extra pancake with my breakfast, which made it a bit much to eat. Next time I'll stick to the recommended two!
Helpful and friendly staff round out an excellent experience.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Big in portions and flavour! Second time here and once again the pancakes did not disappoint. Can definitely tell they use high quality, fresh ingredients. Also shout out to the lovely staff! Had a great dining experience overall. 100% coming back
Probably the best customer service I’ve ever had in Melbourne: professional, pleasant, and, most importantly, genuine. I especially love the alcoholic hot chocolate (cannot remember the name exactly). We also got the mixed berries pancakes with additional ice cream and another pancakes which I cannot remember the name of again. The food were both very enjoyable.
Seriously, it’s a fantastic place for a date or a catch-up with friends.
Amazing selection of pancakes, both savoury and sweet. Ordered the matcha with fruit and beautifully plated, colourful and tasty food arrived.
Highly recommended if you are a fan of pancakes.
Their pancakes are amazing and you have quite a wide range to chose from or to do your own. Waitstaff is also very friendly and is looks happy for working there (which is always a good sign).
I ended up choosing the peanut chocolate log pacake, which was very good but too sweet for me. My gf got matcha tiramisu and it was fabulous! Definitely work the trip.
