Such a fantastic first day back dining in restaurants, I’ll never take this for granted ever! We finished the night with the most delicious pancakes! The pancakes were so thin and yet fluffy with such amazing crispy edges! The staff are AMAZING, you would never believe they’ve just been through (and continue to go the rough) some of the most challenging times ever for hospitality BUT make their customers feel so valued and welcome, such a fantastic night!!

I really love Stoker's. It really is the only place you can chill, have a chat and coffee at 10pm. The owner is super nice and friendly too. It's just got such a good atmosphere. The music is always good (also not too loud so you can actually have a conversation). And on top of all that, it's really delicious. They have sweet and savoury options, yummy coffee and a good selection if you want a wine or beer. Definitely recommend.
My new favourite dessert place is @stokersfinepancakes in South Melbourne. I love how the pancakes are thinner than the average pancake and the fillings are tucked within the layers. This means every bite is full of flavour! We ordered the caramel pear, caramel spiced apples and the banana flambe. Try the pancake chips too! The servings are big, you can even share one plate between two or three plates between four. The ambience is super warm and homely - perfect for catch ups or a sneaky date. Oh they also have wine and whisky if you want to end your dessert with a night cap. My kind of place. 🥂😂
Delightful and hearty pancake dishes in a quaint little cafe. Really enjoyed every element of the bechamel cauliflower pancakes, and the quirky wall decorations. I do think salt and pepp on the tables would be a nice touch.
Stokers served both sweet and savoury pancakes and were open most days until midnight, making it a great late night hang out/dessert joint. Their pancakes were more of a crepe-consistency and style, although their savoury pancakes were more burrito-style than that of a galette. Regardless of what you’d call them, both were equally delicious and satisfying. Service was always friendly, and their wooden décor although felt a bit dated made the ambiance cosy. Stokers was always one of my top dessert destinations.
I swear to god, this photo doesn’t do this pancake joint justice, y’all really need to give it a go. Friendly staff amazing food & live music on Wednesday night, what more can we ask for? Absolutely rate this place!!!
4.5 Where to go for pancakes? There are not many places that specializes and made a name for serving up pancakes. This institution is one of them, setting themselves apart from the competition with thin pancakes instead of the regular thick stacks of pancakes. When I first heard of this place and glanced through the photos I thought to myself, isn’t this crepes instead of pancakes? I then learned that crepes are a form of very thin pancakes so whichever it is, let’s find out how they stack up against the mainstream contender.
Ordered ubereats w them a few times now, always gets monkey business. I am not sure why it’s called pancakes when it’s actually a crepe so I got really really disappointed and annoyed the first time because I REALLY wanted pancakes. Like thick, fluffy round pancakes. But once I got used to the idea that this ain’t no pancakes, they are actually really yummy.
Came here late one night for dinner.
They are open to midnight most nights.
Friendly service and at the time we went the food came out fast.
I got the chicken and corn pancake and it was really good.
Generous serving size and soft fluffy pancakes.
Went in as a group of 4. We all tried out their breakfast/brunch range. We were all impressed. All agreed that the food was better than Pancake Parlour. So gooooooood!!
Coffee was decent too
Welcomed by smiling and courteous staff. Good options of pancake, well presented. Taste was good and the coffee was excellent. I’d visit again.
My partner’s feedback, she was expecting enough quantity of maple syrup to go well with 2 pancakes, and we paid extra for it. Also, I’d recommend to book table online prior visiting.
Heavenly pancakes. They have ample options for sweet and savoury pancakes. We tried both and they're all equally good. I simply cannot pick a favourite. The coffee was perfect too. The staff are super friendly. It's a lovely date spot. Will definitely be going back.
Great place for pancakes in Melbourne. You can tell from our photos that we went for breakfast, but they have other options for lunch, dinner or dessert.
We were both members for the clean plate club, and left stuffed and satisfied. One thing to know was that I ordered an extra pancake with my breakfast, which made it a bit much to eat. Next time I'll stick to the recommended two!
Helpful and friendly staff round out an excellent experience.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Big in portions and flavour! Second time here and once again the pancakes did not disappoint. Can definitely tell they use high quality, fresh ingredients. Also shout out to the lovely staff! Had a great dining experience overall. 100% coming back
Probably the best customer service I’ve ever had in Melbourne: professional, pleasant, and, most importantly, genuine. I especially love the alcoholic hot chocolate (cannot remember the name exactly). We also got the mixed berries pancakes with additional ice cream and another pancakes which I cannot remember the name of again. The food were both very enjoyable.
Seriously, it’s a fantastic place for a date or a catch-up with friends.
Amazing selection of pancakes, both savoury and sweet. Ordered the matcha with fruit and beautifully plated, colourful and tasty food arrived.
Highly recommended if you are a fan of pancakes.

Their pancakes are amazing and you have quite a wide range to chose from or to do your own. Waitstaff is also very friendly and is looks happy for working there (which is always a good sign).
I ended up choosing the peanut chocolate log pacake, which was very good but too sweet for me. My gf got matcha tiramisu and it was fabulous! Definitely work the trip.
