Heaven for Indians in Melbourne !!! Though there are lot of scope for improvement but still we had an amazing meal. Indian food after a month was a pure bliss. One of our friend suggested this place and was worth it. Food was good starting from the paneer butter masala to mushroom tikka masala. Garlic naan was a disappointment. It was. Regular butter naan with garlic paste spread on top. This is not the way to make garlic naan guys !!! Overall a great experience.

My craving for Indian food would definitely urge me to visit the place again.
Always a good option if you're ever in need quick Indian fix over lunch. I've only ever been here during lunch and service is always friendly and prompt. They have all your favourites from butter chicken to vindaloo, served in a cafeteria style tray.
I would have to say that this is one of the best biriyani I Melbourne CBD! As you can chose the level of spice suitable for you! Better thn other place where the spice isn't enough. After eating this I feel so satisfied! If you're looking for a good meal, something which is filing go for it!

I've had been told the place serves one of the best biryani, but unfortunately I could not get to try biryani but I did try their veg roti and rice combo...

Daal had the homemade flavour , chickpea curry was okay and raita was the best but I think they could work on their roti what they serve is actually paratha not roti

I visited two branches of Chilli India in the CBD - both were equally good. Their set meals at the Kings street branch were very nice, options to choose the combinations of our choice and even the a-la-carte menu was too good. Their chicken biriyani was very good and so were their chicken side dishes. Their vegetarian dishes, especially the sambar needs a special mention. We were on a holiday to Australia and we found this place to be reasonably priced for the quality. The other Indian restaurants were incredibly costly and were not worth either.
Excellent! The whole idea to have Indian and Nepalese cuisine is amazing. We visit this place very often and it has always been positive. Very reasonable price and great taste. I'd recommend this place to anyone if you prefer a quick hurry burry lunch.
Reliable good food. Dined here after a long time but was happy to find the good flavours still. Biryani was good and so was the chicken paratha.
I have visited this place with my team and with my wife on many occasions. Though there is a lot to improve on the ambience part of it, but as long as you are concerned with the taste, they are good, they are spicy.
I guess they serve some of the best Biriyanis, that I have tasted in Melbourne and outside of India. If you are not extremely fussy about ambience and would do with decent ambiance, then it would be a nice place to visit. The biriyani is full of flavour, makes you water when you walk in. It is spicy, which I like.
It does get very crowded during the peak hours, so you must consider that. One thing that they may want ti improve on is the time their waiters spend with customers coz they don't have either time to welcome, smile or serve well. Though they are professional and don't do a bad job, but there is enough scope to improve.
Gamble with food. It really depends on chefs mood how the dish is made, seriously its like a gamble with taste, if you are lucky you get the best or the worst. there is no average food here.had great time , equally i have been disappointed. customer service is average as they lose the plot when it gets busy. good customer service when its less busy otherwise you are forgotten that you are in the restaurant.
Good food. I loved a lot the biryani was tasted as my home briniyani will visit again and again. Thank u guys for serving such a good food. Maintain this standards. Next time I will try the dosas.. Love it
Tastes were super yummy and very authentic. Friendly staff. Asked for water but apparently that's a no go?!? Not sure why but would definitely go back.
