With this place closed, I'd love to share my experience at this wonderful K-BBQ and the memories that I have of. The restaurant has a very cozy ambience with a nice traditional decor. Each table is arranged so that it is closed off from the public, so family and friends can hang together without being disturbed, and drink the night away!
They had a wide variety of dishes on their menu encyclopedia, from meat, to hotpot, to noodles, to rice dishes, and an abundant supply of sides. Some dishes were delicious, some were average.
Although they are known for their BBQ, I especially loved the seafood pancake and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes). They were salty yet sweet, full of textures and flavourful elements that were enjoyed by all in the group. Their hotpot was pretty average, although we got that as a free dish when ordering a large banquet. Their japchae was very addicting, rich in umami and the meat was juicy.
This brings me to their meats. I loved their pork belly - it was so fatty and when cooked until the char was seen, it was a heavenly bite that I love when combined with their delicious sides. All the other meats were marinated with a peppery and aromatic sauce, which was delicious too. Their sides, on the other hand (the onions, beansprouts, kimchi), did not have much variation or have much to offer compared to other K-BBQs. Their salad was ok.
The beef was amazing. Absolutely the best beef i had i Melbourne. And the manager was so nice... Great experience . Will be back with friends again.
And thanks for lovely manager Hailey!
The staff are incredibly friendly and very attentive and took care of us by cooking and cutting the food for us. The cheese corn is a must try.
