In a bustling part of the city, Tulip is a heavenly respite from the mayhem outside. This tiny cafe may be small in stature, but it certainly makes it up with amazing coffee and friendly service.
The soft pastel apricot tones, and the modern decor make it a lovely spot to sit and relax. There are a couple of tables, but these guys do a lot of takeaways. We were lucky to nab a table, so we added a yummy cake from the display cabinet to enjoy with our coffees.
Everything was really enjoyable, and the staff here are the loveliest people; making it even more worth your while to stop in for a cuppa.
stumbled upon this gorgeous hidden gem in Degraves St, CBD. This coffee is delicious! i was very happy with the taste and the staff were very friendly along with quick service! i love the takeaway cups as well! :)

3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Coffee verdict: Tulips is conveniently located right opposite the flinders street station so it is a really convenient choice for commuters. I love the wooden cafe design - it looks prettier than your average cafe. There’s limited amount of pastries in the cafe. the coffee itself was slightly more bitter than usual but the perfect pick me up! Wouldn’t rush to come back but if I’m close to degraves, would come back!
First time visiting Melbourne and first time I ever went to try Melbourne's coffee scene was to this place. The staff was very kind and helpful, exploring what I liked when I asked for recommendation. I got long black coffee (strong!) as well as good plain croissant. She also gave me free brewed one to try as well as sparkling water :).

This has been my local go-to coffee joint for around 2 months now, maybe a bit longer, since I started working in the CBD. The Staff and owner are outstanding - good at what they do, friendly, coffee is well balanced and gives me the kick I need, the pastries from there are also great. Despite there being 5 people waiting or 1, they are always quick and coffee's quality is ALWAYS the same without fault. I would definitely recommend here (See you soon guys!) :)
I love the design of this coffee shop. The colour in the vain of PANTONE colour of the year. The coffee is nothing short of excellent and the experience very personal. My first visit won’t be my last.

iv only had one visit here so far but it is honestly one of the top cappuccinos i have had in a while
located just a few steps away from the main busy brunch scene, this little coffee spot seems to be quiet enough that only the "in the knows" come here for this hidden gem of a coffee!
staff was super friendly and provided efficient service
there is some sitting space inside, or you could chat around outside in the gorgeous lane way.. or grab and go!
would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
I bumbled in, unknowingly after hours like a typical tourist, but the owner was kind enough to make me a coffee. I interrupted a photo shoot and was rewarded with a delicious free coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Come here every morning for a coffee before work. Some of the best coffee in the CBD, with the friendliest baristas around.

Their beans are smooth and creamy. Try their late or flat white to get the full flavour.
