The service offered at this place was sensational. Attentive, but not imposing at the same time. The chef did a great job at the teppanyaki and nothing was overcooked. Flavours were on the side of bland, but once dipped in their sauces, nice. Fresh ingredients all the way and the banquet was incredibly filling.
When I think teppanyaki, I think of an interactive dining experience with flying food and knife throwing. Sadly, there was no rice catching at riverside teppanyaki. Nonetheless it was an amazing meal. We opted for a set menu which included tataki, scallop, flaming special no1, lobster, garlic rice, wagyu beef and crepe suzette. I highly recommend the flaming special and it's included in most of the set menus. It's like a grilled, creamy, warm california roll that falls apart in your mouth. The lobster come in a great portion and worth the money. Although I was full half way through the set menu, the garlic rice is too good to pass. Overall a great dinner and would recommend for group bookings or date night.
Typical of teppanyaki restaurants. Well laid out show cooking bar. Fast and efficient service.
I liked the salad: mixed greens with freshly cooked and hot mushrooms sprinkled with just right amount of vinaigrette dressing.
Our food were prepared and cooked without much fanfare, but it tastes good. Meat is tender and juicy. As mentioned in other review portions are a bit small; but I think just right to satisfy.
