Fatto Bar And Cantina - Melbourne - Photo album

Happened to be walking by on way out to dinner and saw they had a special on espresso martini’s. Went in for a quick drink and was impressed by the variety of bar snacks and ambience. Will have to go there again for a longer session next time (hopefully the espresso martini’s will in special again)
The food is great but I gave this a 3 because the people were not as attentive with service once they found out we were here for small plate and alcohol. We had to get our own plates, cutlery, and water. I could understand if the drinks were like a few bucks but with martini price at 21..I expect so
I always feel a bit disappointed here. Both the bar and the Catina restaurant seem to disappoint. Beautiful venue and convenient to theatre venues, but staff are too busy to be attentive and food is expensive for what it is.

I went here with friends after the NGV on a Sunday afternoon. I had the agnolotti, it was very delicious. You're paying Southbank prices so you get a riverside location. Great location and friendly service. I'm actually more curious about their weekday lunch specials which are not southbank prices
Delicious lazy Saturday lunch on the terrace. Shared beetroot risotto, baramundi, crab pasta and pumpkin ravioli as well as garlic pizza and ricotta nectarine to start. Would recommend all of them. Drink service was slow and could be improved.
My usual selection for pre theatre meals aground the art centre prevent precent. Simple Italian meals at ok prices. Had burger during summer day with a Peroni red, hard to fault it
I've visited Fatto a few times and it always satisfies. The space is bright and contemporary with traditional Italian touches, and the food and drinks follow along the same lines. I love the little cocktail window, which is currently taken over by Tanqueray gin for the summer. The drinks are strong
