As a coeliac, it is so hard to find many gluten free options from cafes. Wellzone has an amazing range of food and sweet treats which are delicious. I cannot wait for the cafe to reopen again, because their concept is just amazing and there is definitely a gap in the market!
Had the most INCREDIBLE brunch at wellzone! Staff were amazing as always - can’t wait to go back 🙌🏼
I was invited to try out Wellzone GF & absolutely loved it. As a vegan, they were super accomadating to dietary requirements. The owners and staff are very passionate about the café being gluten free AND delicious.
I don't personally have any gluten intolerances but having friends who have allergies it's so refreshing to find a place that is certified to be celiac friendly. The food is very flavourful, it's so impressive that almost everything is made in house - even the baked goods!
They've done an amazing job of creating a menu that is allergy friendly but also delicious for everyone to enjoy. I brought home several baked goods to share with my family because they were that good.
😱Lizzie’s first impression: this is my first time trying out a completely gluten free and coeliac menu and I was blown away!
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: the salad was really good and not what I had expected at all - I’m not one for tofu and plain greens but this salad was mixed in a really delicious peanut sauce which was delicious.
The crispy chicken fillet salad was very yummy - the chicken albeit a little dry had really good flavour and mixed well with the salad.
I tried the chia seed pudding which was phenomenal - it had a crunchy texture from the puffs and tasted fresh with the raspberries.
I also got to try the dessert platter and it was absolutely outstanding. I’m not one for chocolate forest cakes but this one not only tasted like it wasn’t gluten free but actually had great cocoa flavours to it. I was so impressed with the cheesecake too - one of the standouts id say!
The macarons, donuts and cupcakes were all very moist and very well presented. I was so stoked to try this platter and still can’t believe everything is gluten free!
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: the chia seed pudding was great but the raspberries in the cup was a little too sour for me - would have been good if they added some strawberries or even kiwis to sweeten it up! But hey - raspberries are healthy so I’m not complaining!
🥇Lizzie rates overall: loved how they had a communal table in the middle and used as much sunlight as possible - cafe looks great, staff are super friendly and selection of food is astounding.

Couldn't have been a better day than today to taste these unbelievably moreish doughnuts, macarons and cupcakes...
They are
Gluten Free
Dairy Free
Eggless
Sugar Free
And even Butter Free.
🧁
I mean did you read that.... and they were extremely satisfying and absolutely indulgent desserts.
🍩
@wellzonesgf are a 100% gluten free cafe, that make all their goods within their premises including their cakes, breads, dips and are the 1st Gluten Free Bakery Café in Australia accredited by Coeliac Australia.
🍩
Liwe and Ivan's journey to @wellzonesgf began when their son was diagnosed with coeliac disease circa 2011 and how they started a new lifestyle of cooking in a gluten free environment. And along with their journey started their quest to prove to the world that gluten free food is not tasteless, which has turned into their haven and their reality, and oh the truth they are telling the world is an eye opener for many.
🍞
I was amazed at how luscious and soft the butter free cakes were, and the fact that they were so wholesome was just amazing to see.
🧁LEWI tells me that she feels guilty no more as she could treat her kids with goodies that every child dreams of, and now through @wellzonesgf she is paving the way for thousands of families like hers to enjoy the sweet delights in a riskfree environment.
#mojolevel 7/5 :For baking the most amazing, wholesome, healthy, guiltfree goodies.
I still cannot believe the moisteness and softness (and yet no butter or eggs)

This cafe was a pleasant surprise. We were skeptical about gluten free food because of previous experiences. However, we would happily return here as the food was so delicious.
We were invited today to try a range of meals from their Asian inspired menu. We were served the almond crumbed chicken on cauliflower rice with a Japanese dressing and the vegan potato and tofu salad with a peanut and lime dressing. Both were absolutely delicious. We were surprised at how tasty a vegan salad could be, and you can’t go wrong with fried chicken.
We were also served the chicken pesto gourmet sandwich. The bread was made from quinoa flour and chia seeds, and is made in-house. The bread itself was impressive and reminded me of a rice flour based bread. We added a little salt and it went down a treat.
We were so full from the savoury items that we were kindly given a takeaway box filled with the GF and vegan desserts to eat later. We are currently in the process of devouring them. The current highlight is the Pandan cake with cream cheese icing. If you have had Pandan chiffon cake before, this is just as good, if not better. This I could not believe is gluten free.
The owner, Liwe, created all these dishes so that her sons could safely eat them. And boy, has she mastered the art. Thank you for having us - we will be back!
We were invited to Welzones today and I was so thoroughly impressed by the high quality of everything we tried. Often those who have intolerances such as gluten and dairy free are unfortunately forced to sacrifice flavour but here we had some of the most delicious sweet treats that rivalled even those I’ve previously enjoyed laden with butter and sugar (and they were vegan too). I was at a loss to understand how they made them so tasty without all those requisite ingredients we are accustomed to, very well done!
The concept was born as a result of the owners children’s illnesses. In the spirit of inclusivity and wanting to give those who suffer from intolerances somewhere they could have their pick of the menu and be entirely safe they went about creating a completely gluten free cafe and bakery which has been accredited by Coeliac Australia, the first of its kind. I ordered the breakfast board and hubby the chilli scrambled.
My dish came with superseed bread and his with chia bread we were in love with the freshly baked loaves made daily and these whipped up early that morning. They were so light and wholesome and my board in its entirety delightful with a yummy mango chia pudding and delicious orange juice. Thoroughly recommend trying!
We also tried one of their sandwiches the chicken pesto which was very good. The pricing is extremely reasonable given you are enjoying high quality premium ingredients and the eggs and proteins are free range.
We then had a stunning array of desserts from cupcakes to macarons, donuts, a cinnamon scroll and a delectably creamy cheesecake (lactose free). It’s simply crazy to comprehend how phenomenal these tasted considering no sugar was used to create them, such talented chefs in the kitchen! We also tried a pandan flavoured cake which was impossibly light and the requisite vibrant shade of green. All round exceptional

Opening up a cafe is hard enough, but making it completely gluten free is a whole different level! It is the first gluten free bakery cafe accredited by Coeliac Australia, which is amazing! On top of this, all of the dishes are also refined sugar free (using maple syrup as a sweetener), use no artifical colours or flavours or preservatives, and have a large range of vegetarian & vegan options! The owners and staff should be congratulated on such an awesome feat!
I'm so glad I was able to try out their new Winter Menu, which was so delicious.
The food and drinks were so good!
The coffee was really nice, not too bitter which I love!
The savoury dishes were so flavoursome. In particular, the warming new stew that's been released for winter. It's a little oily, but that makes it perfect for keeping you warm in winter.
The green wrap was very refreshing. Instead of a normal wheat based wrap, it's wrapped in lettuce! The ingredients inside included the classic egg, ham and cheese.
The trio of sliders included: almond crumb chicken with coleslaw, tofu with vegan salad & ham with vegan cheese. My favourite was the cirpsy chicken which the saucy coleslaw. However, all of them were yummy!
The sweets at this cafe were the stand out. I was lucky enough to go before Mothers Day & was able to indulge on the vanilla chocolate, and strawberry/blueberry special cupcakes! Both cupcakes were rich, moist and sweet. The passionfruit tart was so nice, with a nice crispy pastry that crumbled in the mouth, and a slightly sour/sweet filling. The macaroons were both winners, and so yummy I wanted more! The doughnuts were a little dense, but to be expected when there isn't any gluten in the flour! I couldn't decide if I liked the white chocolate or dark chocolate one better!
The staff were so friendly, and a special shout out to the lovely Sharon, and the barista Henry, who served me during my visit. Even though it was pouring with rain outside, the cafe felt warm & cosy. A must try cafe for people who can't, and can, eat gluten!
Had the pleasure of dining at Australia’s first Gluten Free Cafe this morning ☺️
We tried a range of different dishes including :
- The Wellzones Brekkie ( the superseed toast was freshly baked and tasted amazing!! Especially with the avocado and mushrooms 👌🏼👌🏼- it was so filling as well)
-Tempeh + Ham and Cheese Slider ( that tempeh was cooked so nicely and the texture was perfect + that sauce was delicious too)
-Lemongrass Chicken ( that broth was cooked so perfectly, everything was super fresh and the noodles and chicken was cooked perfectly 🙌🏼 I liked that you could tell there wasn’t any added preservatives or MSG in the broth - like many other chicken soups I’ve had 😓- I’d definitely recommend this 👌🏼)
- my Favourite part was trying all those delicious gluten free desserts!! I loved the cheesecake and pandan cake especially !!! Plus the donuts and cupcake was also so satisfying 👌🏼👌🏼
- can’t wait to visit Wellzones again
- also thanks to Liz for being a lovely host 💕
Ordered the super salad and lemongrass chicken noodle soup. Had the tempeh and a decaf cappuccino. Taste is well balanced. Friendly staff, great service.
My first experience at a fully gluten free bakery cafe. Wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. I tried 3 types of sliders, tofu, chicken and ham and cheese - filings were fresh and flavoursome and the bread was delicious! I believe they bake it fresh and you can tell. Also tried an asian style braised beef rib which was beautifully savoury but not too salty. On the side we had a salad with pumpkin, quinoa and mushrooms and the dressing was tangy and amazing. To finish we shared donuts, cupcake, macaron and lemon tart. I was really surprised how moist and yummy the cakes were! I couldn't tell they were gf vegan! The donuts were so cute and this was the only thing that seemed a little different to a traditional donut, it was kinda like cake inside but I really enjoyed it. I really liked the fact this place focuses on different dietary requirements and the food was just so wholesome and healthy.
If you're after a coeliac friendly, amazing and delicious restaurant, Wellzones GF is your place!
We were lucky to try a few new dishes and delectable desserts. Starting off with coffee, it was strong and just how I love a cuppa. And pretty coffee art always makes me happy!
Next up was the platter of sweets. This one included Cinnamon Roll (super cinnamonny and just the right sweetness), Banana Cupcake (moist and very banana-y), Mango Cupcake (mango puree and icing was soo delicious), Strawberry Macaron & Pistachio Macaron (crunchy / soft combo with yummy filling), Chocolate Glazed Doughnut (soo good!) and Chocolate Ganache with Ruby Chocolate Swirl mini tarts. All cakes are refined sugar free (using maple syrup instead) and some are even vegan! You'd never know these are gluten free either!
The Green Wraps with Teriyaki Tempeh were so tasty! The lettuce wrap and the salad was super fresh and the pickled veggies were great! I loved the teriyaki tempeh - went really well with the freshness of the salad and the sauce.
Trio Quinoa Salad was one of my faves of the day! The salad was amazing. Quinoa was mixed with pumpkin, capsicum, marinated mushrooms and more! This was all tied together with the amazing zesty dressing. Yum!
Lastly we had the Almond Crumb Chicken Slider with coleslaw, Ham & (melted) Cheese Slider, Small Chicken Pie. These were lovely, slightly bigger than bite-sized delicious morsels. Out of the 3, I loved the chicken pie, but all were super tasty!
Would highly recommend coming here! Thanks for inviting us in!
We were invited to come try the food @ Wellzones and, wow, what a little gem hiding in an unassuming part of Burke Rd! We had the poké bowl with deep-fried tempeh, vegan salad, an array of GF sweet treats and a green mango smoothie, all of which were absolutely delicious! Fried tempeh has changed my life and the poke bowl had a tasty array of other toppings like edamame and avocado, the salad was fresh with an amazing house-made dressing and the smoothie was bursting with bright fruit notes!
The cinnamon swirl is also an absolute must-buy, one of the best GF cakes I've ever had. The cupcakes and donut were not our favourites but we also understand the difficulties of vegan and GF baking.
The woman who served us, Sharon, was lovely and extremely helpful. The interior is simple but full of natural light which gets a big tick from us. Overall, an amazing brunch spot that we will definitely be returning to!
What an amazing experience I had today at Wellzones GF. The food was not only beautifully presented but also delicious. We ordered the lemongrass chicken soup, poke bowl (salmon) and some amazing sweet treats. Not only was the food spectacular but equally as good as the service. I’m one very happy customer 😀 thanks for having us.
We were invited to try Wellzones GF and I was super excited to take my partner who is a coeliac, and has been mostly disappointed so far in his search to find GF substitutes of his favourite things like bread, pies and fluffy sponge cakes. If this is you or someone you know, then Wellzones is a must visit because it really delivers!
Wellzones make everything they sell fresh and onsite every morning (from 3am!). They ONLY use GF flours, so there is no threat of cross contamination! As proof, they are also accredited by Coeliac Australia. In addition to being 100% GF most of their products are also dairy free and vegan.
We tried a sampling plate of their baked goods and desserts including their macarons, cupcakes (blueberry and mango) sponge cakes (chocolate and fruit/vanilla), Easter chocolates, and the larger sized orange cream cheese cake and pandan cream cheese cake. Everything was delicious and had such a good texture considering most were DF as well as GF. The cakes in particular were so light and fluffy. The standout was the blueberry cupcake which had the most delicious blueberry jam hidden inside - absolute winner!
For food we had the Chilli Scrambled Eggs, Chicken Pie and Bacon & Cheese Spicy Chipotle Sandwich. A standout is their housemade seeded bread which you wouldn’t even know was GF. Perfect for fresh sandwiches (usually with GF bread we prefer it toasted but this works great both ways!) and the range of sandwiches in house are excellent with lots of fresh, top notch ingredients.
My partner fell in love with the Chicken Pie, a very rare GF find! It’s served like a shepherds pot pie with a thick layer of mashed potato on top and no pastry inside. The filling was a delicious and comforting chicken & vege with egg - super delicious and something we’d love to keep at home to heat up when needed.
The chilli scrambled eggs were all incredibly fluffy and delicious, a lovely well rounded breakfast with loads of bacon, roast tomato and of course their delicious GF bread.
In sum, WellzonesGF is a fantastic bakery and cafe for everyone but an AMAZING one for anyone with gluten or other food allergies and intolerances. Well worth a try!
i had the best experience at Wellzones today! highly HIGHLY recommend anyone to come here! i was really looking forward in finally visiting and i went this morning! first of all the staff are beautiful and welcoming to each and every customer which is really important and secondly they are coeliac accredited which made is safe for me to eat there and have no worries! they cater for everyone including gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, nut free and lactose free! everything is baked fresh daily and bread is homemade.. absolutely amazing!
my spread today include the breakfast board with mango and chia pudding, smashed avo and orange juice, salmon poke bowl, chicken and pesto sandwich with quinoa and chia homemade bread and assorted cakes! i especially loved the salmon poke bowl, they also made their own mayo that goes on top! and i loved the mango and chia pudding! all the food i tried was so fresh and i am just amazed that its all baked daily, you can taste how fresh it is!
the cakes i tried were passionfruit tart, easter chocolates, pistachio & mango macarons, vanilla strawberry cake, blueberry cupcake, raspberry chocolate cupcake and a white chocolate donut ALL gluten free, dairy free, vegan and lactose free! very moist and didnt taste dry like other gluten free cakes would!
thank you wellzones for an amazing experience, i recommend for anyone to try even if you have an allergy or not, this cafe is perfect! i’ll definitely be back!!! :) :) :)
Wellzones bakery offers delicious gluten free foods. Along with this the customer service is exceptional. The staff at Wellzones are always warm and welcoming which adds to the wonderful vibe of Wellzones. Situated in beautiful Camberwell what is not to love about this trendy bakery. I will be definitely be back again soon :)
If you find yourself searching high and low for a good GF cafe, this is your one stop shop! Such a delicious spread at Wellzones GF! Thank you to Liwe and her team who were beyond lovely and made our brunch super pleasant 💛.
The Breakfast Board is a must - the flavours of the Mango Chia Pudding burst in your mouth.
We were lucky enough to be treated to a selection of freshly baked GF (DF and LF - wow!) cakes, donuts and muffins. Everything was full of flavour and deliciously succulent without all the nasties! Everything on the menu was made using all natural ingredients with many vegan options.

We had a great experience at Wellzones! Love the location and decor, great vibe and the team are so accommodating to dietary requirements 💚 Plus they are lovely!!
It was great to try the VEGAN BREKKIE and the VEGAN SALAD! The flavours were on point, particularly the mushrooms in the brekkie and the salad dressing- wow!!
We also tried some GF vegan cupcakes, cookies and donuts. Wow! What a treat. It all tastes amazing!
I love that the whole cafe is GF, which is something the team are passionate about. Also great to see some many vegan options. On top of that, all the ingredients are fresh and natural.
Would definitely recommend a visit!! Thanks Wellzones!
Well well well, wellzones is amazing! Not only is everything gluten free, there are plenty of amazing vegan options too! The vegan salad is one of the best I’ve ever had & they even have vegan panna cotta 🤯 heaps of sweet treats that you can either eat in or take away!
I've been meaning to go try this place out for a while and let me tell you it definitely lives up to the hype. As a sweetooth I tend to always go for more unhealthy dishes. However, healthy can definitely be just as good and tasty.
Boasting a beautiful and bright interior I decided to order their breakfast board and a green smoothie. Everything about the dish was spot on, flavorsome and beautifully presented. As a sweetooth I had to finish with one of their beautiful looking cupcakes. Pricing is extremely reasonable and freindly staff. Definitely need to go and try this poace out for yourselves.
I often look away from gluten free foods either expecting it to just not be as good as food with gluten or because some company is trying to brand gluten free as healthy product which isn’t the case.
However, wellzones has completely changed my mind on gluten free meals and cakey bakes.
We were given a variety of cakes:
- white chocolate donut
- chocolate mini cake
- vanilla strawberry mini cake
- berry and pistachio macaroons
- salted caramel cupcake
- chocolate raspberry cupcake
All the cakes were light, moist and totally delicious. You would no way guess they were gluten free. My favourite was the salted caramel cupcake. The cake itself was so full of flavour but didn’t leave you feeling stodgy. All of the cakes weren’t overly sweet, they had the perfect balance of sweet for enjoyment and not a sick feeling. The icing was also super light and fluffy. The cakes were GREAT.
We also had the crispy skin salmon and the tempeh power bowl.
The crispy skin salmon had a perfectly crispy skin and a delightful flakiness to it. The flavour was grand and was accompanied by tender stem broccoli and asparagus both cooked nicely.
Next was the tempeh power bowl. I am quite skeptical about vegan food trying to imposter meat however, this tempeh was really nicely cooked and seasoned well. It had an almost chicken like texture which I appreciated. It came with roasted pumpkin which is totally my favourite, cauli rice and a salad. All drizzled in teriyaki sauce! The dish was very enjoyable and really filling!
The menu itself promoted using whole foods and whole foods only (all gluten free as well). As a fitness professional this is something I really liked, nothing was drenched in oil, nothing felt unhealthy even the cakes (they are still probably a little less on the nutritional value) but I left completely satisfied with my meal.
I would highly recommend this place for a healthy eat, good service and a wonderful time.
Good place I enjoyed the yummy desserts!!!! Great customer service great food would definitely recommend it to everyone! Thank you I’ll be coming back once again
Great variety of vegan options from the salads to the mains. Great lighting outside to get that professional photo. Definitely recommended if you are looking for something new
I have always been skeptical about any kinds of “healthy” and “gluten free” food products because my mind tends to associate healthy foods with boring, tasteless and unappetizing food. Boy, it all changed when I went to try the dishes and the sweet offerings from Wellzones GF!!
First time I went there and tried their almond crumbed chicken with teriyaki sauce and served with cauliflower rice, I was totally blown away. The coating was crispy and delicious, the chicken was tender and juicy inside. The combination of flavours and textures immediately felt like home to my tastebuds. Delicious, fresh, well balanced. Not to mention their refreshing Green mango smoothie to compliment my dish!
On another recent occasion, I have also been fortunate enough to sample a few others of their delightful variety of yummy dishes and sweets.
Their Salmon Poke bowl was really delicious! Again, a beautiful combination of flavours and textures that left me wanting for more. I love the slightly char grilled tomato pieces there that added a little sweet and sour flavour to the overall flavours.
Chia Pudding — fresh and yumm!
If you have never tried any kinds of Pandan cakes, this place is definitely a great place to start! Their pandan cake with sprinkle of cheese on top was so soft and yumm. Their glazed donuts was a different twist from the usual ones you may have before, yet it was a nice surprise. Strawberry macaron was also a worthy sweet bite. Oh they also have this souffle looking pandan cake, yumm :) And the Chocolate cupcake? Can’t go wrong with something like that! :)
This has been my honest opinion on all the dishes, as always :)
Ambient was pretty relaxed and bright. Staffs were all friendly. Owner Liwe was really kind and helpful
If you have been looking for a good Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free or Coeliac friendly place, I highly recommend them!
Amazing gluten-free sponge! I can’t get over their delicious cakes! Unfortunately missed out on the pandan flavour on the day I visited but will definitely come back again!
All their other foods were amazing too, with my only reservation being that the cupcakes were quite pricey for what we got...
Then again, as a coeliac, I am more than happy to support yet another business who takes such pains to cater for us!
Again, can’t stress how good their cream sponge cakes and food are! You won’t regret a visit 😋
What a wonderful cafe! We had the vegan Panna cotta, Vegan Brekkie, Vegan salad, Avocado power shake, super orange juice and some baked goodies! Loved it all. They genuinely care about providing good quality and healthy food to their customers.
I cannot speak highly enough of this gluten-free bakery and cafe! Each and every dish and bakery item I tried was spot on and it didn't taste like the cardboard products in super markets! I am also super impressed that it is certified GF so coeliacs can enjoy brunch with no worries.
I am a chef myself and know how hard it can be to perfect gluten free items. The fact they bake everything fresh every day is seriously incredible and I take my hat off to you.
On top of that, most the baked good are vegan and refined sugar free! We had the chilli scramble (just the right amount of chilli & perfectly seasoned), the almond crumbed chicken power bowl (personal fave), mango & chia pudding (friends favourite) and a selection of the baked goods (both of our favourites!!).
The vegan celebration cake was AMAZING. Such a great brunch. Keep up the amazing work crew!
This is such a delightful menu! The gluten free and guilt free menu is satisfying and delicious to enjoy on any day. We were able to try a bunch of their delicious treats such as the chocolate and raspberry cake, blueberry muffin, macaroons and mini donuts. The staff are very friendly, and the interior is very natural. We enjoyed other dishes such as the poke bowl, the breakfast board and the panacotta. Check out my images below, but defs a great place to visit. One of the places you can visit in you gym gear!
Wellzones GF is a beautiful cafe that specialises in gluten and refined sugar free options. They still maintain an extensive range of menu options, all with a healthy twist. After having lunch there, we left feeling satisfied but not bloated or uncomfortable. The dessert options are definitely worth trying out too!
Wow! Great food and great service. Everything is gluten free here!!! Staff were so friendly. I had blueberry milkshake and chicked crumbed bowl. Both of them were very tasty! This is my new favourite cafe now!
I seriously love this café! As a coeliac I can eat in confidence without any doubt or reservations. However, more importantly the food is amazing! I love the chicken lemon grass soup and can’t go past the doughnuts and chocolate cupcakes! The have a great range of sweets to choose from and the gluten free breads are really good. Importantly they align with my own philosophy of natural and fresh ingredients. The café is super clean and tidy and the food is always fresh and consistent. I encourage everyone (coeliac or not) to give them your business- they totally deserve it!
Ate here for the first time today! The service was lovely and they were super accommodating with my intolerances. The food was delicious 😊 Definitely will be coming back
Polite staff with great service. Super accommodating with coeliacs. Would 100% definitely recommend having a meal and coffee at Wellzones. Will definitely be returning.
Wellzones GF is as the name suggests a gluten free cafe which is so super cute with a really lovely ambience.
They also cater for vegans and their dairy free guests with lots of beautiful cookies and cakes which are so attractive to look at but are all full of flavour. I really fell in love with their chia pudding filled with raspberries and banana and their smoothies are hard to pass up.
Thank you so much for such a lovely experience and looking after us 😊💗
The vegan salad here is so good. I’m not vegan but I’ll walk the 20minutes most days of the week for it! Also, the choc chip gluten free cookies are actually incredible!! And I don’t even eat gluten free normal. Definitely worth giving this place a shot.
Having ordered UberEats from here and having thoroughly enjoyed we believed that going to experience the cafe firsthand was a must and we were not disappointed in any sense!
Opting for Wellzones all day breakie (1xvegan 1xnormal) and avocado smoothie it was a wonderful choice. The roast pumpkin peeled off the skin perfectly and the mushrooms were wonderfully seasoned. The gluten free bread was also an absolute delight. The avocado smoothie was super thick and creamy almost like a pudding consistency which gave a super yummy finish to the meal.
All in all the experience at Wellzones was lovely however the customer service made it better then most and is why we have opted for 5 stars. Lovely people to stop and chat with. Highly recommend and will be coming back in the future for some more Wellzones goodness!!
I had the most incredible guilt free meal at Wellzones GF recently! My favourite was the delectable almond crusted chicken with cauliflower rice. Only seconded by the salad which brought me back to last time I was in Indonesia eating Gado Gado. Loved the fresh flavours to each dish and I will definitely be coming back!
Power bowl was rad and no sign of gluten anywhere. Good selection in the menu and pretty reasonably priced. Rated the mint in the water was a nice touch
Awesome little cafe in Camberwell.
They do amazing variety boxes with lots of sweets and goodies. Everything was so yum! They were even able to add vegan options for my family, in addition to all be gluten free!
Would definitely recommend, and will be back soon! Can’t wait to try the rest of the cafe
Located in Camberwell, Wellzones GF is a cosy light-filled cafe serving delicious gluten free fare. I was fortunate to win a meal for a two via an instagram competition.
Visiting with my sister we ordered the almond crumb chicken power bowl, a butter chicken pie along with a blueberry power shake and green mango smoothie to drink.
Wellzones GF is a great option for the health conscious, I liked the fact that my power bowl was both healthy and wholesome. Although the chicken is probably highlighted as the star of the dish my favourite component was the pumpkin. The butter chicken pie was delicious, instead of the usual pastry it was topped with mashed potato that worked well with the chicken. Both the power shake and smoothie were filling and tasty.
No visit to Wellzones is complete without trying out some of the baked treats on display. For dessert we shared a strawberry cupcake and some mini donuts and were not disappointed.
*** UPDATE****
I recently returned to Wellzones GF with a friend and was not disappointed.
We shared the Wellzones Brekkie, lemongrass chicken soup, a chicken pesto sandwich and a selection of desserts along with a beetroot latte and chai latte to drink.
The Wellzones Brekkie is a nice wholesome option. Featuring the usual suspects in toast, avocado, sautéed mushrooms and a poached egg along with roasted capsicum and a salad, it’s both healthy and filling.
The hearty lemongrass chicken soup, a recipe from the owners Singaporean grandmother is perfect for a cold winter’s day. The broth was beautifully balanced and flavoursome and was my favourite out of the savoury dishes we tried.
In addition to the savoury options, we were also treated to an array of desserts including cake, a scroll and macaroons. For me the vegan raspberry chocolate cake was the hands down winner. It was rich and moist and the chocolate and raspberry worked so well together. I love the fact that all of the desserts are gluten free with the majority being dairy free.
It’s great to see cafes such as Wellzones GF catering to people with food intolerances and special dietary requirements. Overall I had a lovely experience at Wellzones GF and I recommend that you check them out. I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ out of 5. Thanks very much for having me.
These guys are my regular coffee spot. The service is always friendly, the coffee is amazing and their gluten free treats taste incredible! Absolutely love visiting well zones!
It’s great as a celiac to go eat at a place that’s totally GF! The bread is delicious reminded me of something you would eat in France. Cookies & chocolate muffin were also delicious. I had an Asian style salad for lunch with fried chicken which was really yummy. Staff were all smiles and very friendly.
[UPDATE]
I came back to Wellzones on invitation to try their new Summer menu launch! We were treated to an amazing selection of new brunch dishes, Christmas treats and cake - all gluten free of course!
Everything was so good, it did not taste like it was gluten free at all! I loved the crispy skin salmon and the scrambled eggs were a winner too. The chia pudding is light and refreshing, and the orange juice is as fresh as you can get!
The desserts and baked goods are spectacular. The donuts are so moist and soft, and the icing is not too sweet. Same goes for the cupcakes, with a light whipped frosting that has greens powder in it! The dairy free macarons are so cute too!
Thank you so much for having me again! I always have such a good experience every time I visit. Highly recommend this cafe - not just for the healthy and delicious food, but also for the positive ambience and the friendly staff!

Wellzones GF is a beautiful family-run cafe by husband and wif, Ivan and Liwe, with an inspirational story behind it. With one of their sons diagnosed with coeliac disease, and the other with an allergy to dairy, they found it hard to enjoy eating out due to the lack of GF places around. This is when they opened Wellzones, specialising in gluten-free baked goods and delights, as well as dairy-free, vegan, and low-fat options.
The cafe is small and cozy, but also brightly lit and comfortable. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted by smiling faces, and a cabinet full of stunning, gluten free desserts and sweets. They also have a sampler plate for customers to try their baked goods - the brownie was awesome! I won 2 of their cakes from a giveaway and I had come to collect it. While waiting, I was able to talk with Liwe and get to know a little bit about their story. I was even offered their special ‘Super Orange’ juice, which was a beautiful vibrant orange colour from the carrot and had a hint of spice from the ginger - so refreshing for the recent hot weather as well as being perfect to battle the flu season.
I took home the Vegan Raspberry Chocolate cake and the Vegan Berries cake (both GF), which were almost too pretty to eat! But I’m glad I did because they were absolutely delicious! This was my first time trying a fully vegan & gluten free cake and I was definitely impressed! The cakes are not too sweet, and the frosting is creamy and delightful. We especially liked the chocolate cake with the fruity raspberry centre.
Thank you so much Liwe and your family for your warm welcoming and your beautiful, delicious cakes! It was so lovely to meet you and I hope to be back one day! 💕
Came here with a good friend of mine. Food was excellent (I was initially a bit skeptical). Super friendly team. Will definitely be back! Even if you are not coeliac this place is well worth a visit.
Unlike a lot of places that have jumped on the GF bandwagon, Wellzones’ offerings have been developed by owners Liwe and Ivan over the years out of the necessity of familial illness and the desire to create an alternative menu without compromising on good flavour and taste. The result...
Wonderful philosophy to food as an agent of not just prevention but also of healing. When you can top that with yummy and tasty breads, muffins, slices and other savory platters, it’s a match made in heaven. Did I say the coffee’s pretty good too?
We’ll definitely be back.
The newest addition to Camberwell’s gluten-free scene opened their doors on April 14th. WellZones Gluten Free Artisan Bakery is the creation of a passionate family. With a Coeliac Son and disappointed in the limitations of Coeliac Safe options they developed their vision of delicious and safe food. they decided to help the community by opening their bakery and cafe at Shop 10, 436 Burke Rd, Camberwell VIC 3124.
Ordered catering for my brother's birthday, was not dissapointed, we had the doughnuts, opera cake and mini cupcakes. Was pretty good, mix of savoury and sweet food, and good flavour. Would cater from this place again.
The cookies was amazing!! If you think healthy and delicious stuff is impossible, this place will prove you wrong! At first i thought this only for GF people but its not! Full of variety, vegan dessert, dairy free, lactose free and you know no sugar dessert!! (No way right??) Definitely worth the visittt 💪🏼
The best gluten free bread ive ever taste!!! They impressed me with the good texture, soft, and fluffy bread. I didnt expect the gluten free bread as good as this. They offered me a small bites of sample for each breads which were chia, super seeds and quinoa. They r all delicious. I bought my self a loaf of quinoa bread. Price wise, it is worth it to buy this quality for $15! also staffs are extremely helpful. The pastry chef came up to me to say hi and told me the story about their product. I'll come back for sure!!!
