We ate here during lunch and had the grilled
Beef salad vermicelli, curry pie, rice paper rolls and a soy latte and hot choccy. My friend liked the fish pie and my noodle salad was fresh. Busy place and the prices are good bang for buck. I wished there was a crispy pork belly option! It was still good. The faces on the cuppas were so cute. It put a smile on my face. Servers were attentive and the cashier or the bar guy was very sweet. It was a positive experience for me.
A nice sweet classy cafe on Southbank . It offers lot in the menu to make your heart jump for everything. My favourite is the rice roll and chicken rolls
Very friendly staff, quality food and great prices.
I have been going here over several months with very consistent service.
Eggs Benedict is only $12!
Can’t beat these place for a lunch venue whether you eat in or you are on the run. Gets crazy busy and the line can sometimes snake out the door. But service is quick, almost like a production line. Great value rolls and ingredients are tasty and fresh.
Had low expectations initially but was pleasantly surprised! The eggs benedict was done perfectly!! Food is very reasonably priced! Coffee was alright. Friendly staff. Overall very happy with the service
I went to Queenie’s today to try a bahn mi my colleagues had been raving about. I went for the chicken satay and very much enjoyed it other than the parts of the burnt chicken which weren’t pleasant. I also sampled a prawn rice paper roll. This was broken but still tasty and I enjoyed the accompanying dipping sauce. Overall not a bad lunch option
Great Rolls. Only ever had the Rolls though.(Banh Mi Viet Rolls Included) Great Value and good flavour. I have a roll every week and also really popular among my colleagues. Banh Mi is very good. Never been to Vietnam so I don't know about the authenticity but I really enjoy them. Fillings are fresh.
Never been here for breakfast though.
Food comes out fast, lovely service and well priced. No complaints. High chairs available and they seem to remember their regulars. Very happy with the neighbourhood gem.
I've munched down a lot of banh mi's in my time and let me tell you, these guys are up there with the best outside of Footscray. In fairness I'm yet to have a bad one anywhere, which kind've makes my first sentence redundant, but it still deserves a good score.
The lunch/dinner menu is good value run-of-the-mill vietnamese. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done.
The only knock I'd give it is the brekky dishes are a bit how ya goin. Nothing too bad, just a bit plain. But it's relative to the cheap price so that's ok.
Friendly staff as well.
Good cheap cafe.
Let's be honest not going to rock the culinary world but would be hard pressed to find another cafe that serves up good dishes at their prices. Eggs anyway on toast at $6, or eggs benedict for $12, or even smashed avo for $14 ( perfect for those trying to buy a house).
Friendly staff to top it off.
Recommend as a local cafe that won't break the bank.
Ps. Hash browns are on point
