Came there today looking for the famous l
Lamingtons.
I googled the best in Melbourne and this place came up. Unfortunately they are no longer made but I did pick up and slice of carrot cake with cream cheese icing and boy was it good.
So moist and soft, I shared it my mother inlaw and bf and they were amazed. Said it's the best carrot carrot cake they've tasted.
Pity with the Lamingtons but I do hope you make them again while I frantically find another Lamington that's one of the best in Melbourne .

Been my local for a little while now. I make my own toasties at home but the ones they do here are the Usain Bolt of sandwiches. The coffees are also the ultimate CPR after a big night out. Bon Appétit !

Possibly my favourite place to get a coffee and something to eat in Carlton North. As a self confessed toasty aficionado, I can tell you that you haven't experienced toasty heaven until you've tried one from rathdowne deli. My personal favourite is ham, cheese and pickles. I also come here time and time again because the staff are so friendly and helpful. The guy with the man-bun makes a fantastic coffee and everyone there has always provided me excellent service! If you haven't been you're missing out!
