A cute little Italian place just off Chapel St. We both ordered the express lunch which included a glass of wine for $24 each. The bolognese was delicious!

We love Me Bond and 38 chairs! The staff is amazing - they’re all so kind and helpful and willing to make adjustment to dishes for dietary needs. All the food and drinks are delicious! One of our favorite spots.

Such a cosy little Italian restaurant by the same people from thirty eight chairs. Feels just like being back in Italy with the red checkered table cloths. The food is fantastic too. Pasta of the day was duck ragu=excellent. All the tapas are great. The calamari is the best. Tiramisu is amazing!

Excellent food and great service. Absolutely fantastic place transforms you back to Italy. Owned by the same people who owns 38 chairs. They get really busy after 7pm so don't be disappointed that the food is late and you are late for a movie. However the food is worth the wait. Did I mention that you should also try some of the Italian wine with your pasta. Let me know your thoughts.

Great Italian restaurant - a very cosy little setup. The service is fantastic and very authentic with delicious food. Happy to reminisce of Italy by having a few cocktails and nibbles with friends.

DAMMIT JANET I LOVE FOOD

We originally had set our sights on Thirty Eight Chairs, but after discovering that they weren’t open for lunch that day, we decided to try Mr Bond which is their sister restaurant and right next door. We were seated in the courtyard which was fine except some fans would have been nice as it was such a hot day that I became stuck to my chair in no time. Service was friendly and the food authentically Italian. A great experience but I’m still keen on trying Thirty Eight Chairs one day.

Came here for lunch and had a really good meal despite being a bit expensive. I enjoyed the salads they had, particularly the octopus salad. Our waiter was nice although it was somewhat hard to communicate. Would return again though! nice courtyard to sit in the sun.

We're two fussy Melbourne foodies, and this place certainly didn't disappoint! I'd come back again!

So far only had coffee here but gotta say, the coffee was good and at $3 for a long mac - value. Sat on stools outside in the sun but Inside there were some good looking salads - octopus looked tasty as did a quinoa salad. Staff really friendly and connected so I shall return

Returned in May 2017 -we sat outside in the sunny little courtyard- We had lunch of bacon/egg panini with dining partner ordering the salmon bruschetta with egg. Shared a spinach and pumpkin salad. A coffee each. $20 per head. Bang! Good sandwich, fresh and warm and crunchy bread with fantastic porky 🐷 bacon and glowing egg. The salmon was spot on also as was the delightful salad. Off the main Chapel St drag. Well done Mr. Bond!

This place is fantastic. It's a casual little place where all the staff makes you feel like family. The food is great, simple tasty dishes made with amazing ingredients. You know you are in a special place when the chef comes out and asks you what you think about the food. They really take pride in what they do
