With it's vintage velvet lounges, Jane Doe draws you in as you stroll down busy Chapel Street. On a sunny afternoon, or gorgeous night; it's lovely to curl up on one of these comfy couches and enjoy a few drinks. The decor is vintage eclectic, and the atmosphere is definitely chilled and relaxed.
A well stocked bar means there are some fabulous cocktails available, and they also have some good wine and beer choices. The staff are really friendly and service is always good. Jane Doe is a wonderful bar to hang out with friends, or just to sit back on a comfy couch and watch busy Chapel Street.

The people watching is excellent and the lounges... once you sit down it was really hard move, as they were so comfortable and I was so relaxed.
This place has a happy hour from 2pm, how civilised. Perfect for when you have had a busy day and you just want to sit in a small bar and watch the world go by! Lol
Decor is relaxed and loungey, it’s a small venue but they always play funky music and the bartender is knowledgeable and nice. The drinks were delicious too.

Cute little cocktail bar with and intimate feel, comfy couches and fantastic cocktails. The Breakfast at Tiffany’s cocktail was stellar! The staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly too.
This is my Favourite bar on Chapel Street. The Cocktails are phenomenal complimented by the never ending Daily Happy-Hours! Cant wait to see what the next chapter of your group is going to create. #Juiceback
Comfy couches, $10 happy hour cocktails 🍹🍸and cheap spirits and wine🍷.Definitely a good place for a nice drink and catch up 👍🏼 only downside is that it is cash only

We went during a quiet period so our experience might have been different if it were busy but we had a great time. Chilled out at 4 in the arvo with the heaters on and enjoyed cheap cocktails during happy hour. Love the super comfy couches and the lady serving was really nice. Quite enjoyed this place.
Had some great cocktails here with friends - cool vibe and friendly staff. It is also a great spot for people watching on Chapel. Would recommend!
I have a thing for vevelvet cosy couchs. Comfortable, people watching, perfect spot. Not to loud although we here during the day over a night time setting, passed by and stop for a cocktails or two
Had an excellent experience here last night. The bartender was incredibly friends and very knowledgeable, and she was able to steer my mate and I in the direction of some excellent drinks that she expertly made. Definitely worth popping in for a visit if you're in the area.

I don't typically frequent this area & as popular as the 'area' is, it's not typically for me. That said, I have occasionally walked past this bar & often taken notice. Something about the lounging being set up to view an outward sliver of the Chapel St 'goings-on', whilst lounging on the comfy seats.
I haven't tested the bar capabilities (I'm a simple man) but I'm under the impression this is a competent cocktail bar.

A room full of couches to sink into, glassware as decor, and an open front make it feel like you're drinking in a friend's living room. Cocktails are great and reasonably priced ($16 currently). Service is very friendly but occasionally a little slow if a few people order drinks at once. Sometimes there are doggies around.
