After reading a lot of good things about this restaurant I decided to try this place out and I am very happy that I did. They have really good food, a beautiful seating area, a rooftop, and friendly staff. It is located near the corner of Little Bourke Street and Swanston street. You will have to go to the third floor of the building to reach here. The staff was friendly but the service was a bit slow. One thing that you will notice when you enter the seating area is that they don’t have a kitchen there. They have a small service lift in which the food is prepared in the kitchen and then sent to the seating area where it is served to your table.
The food and ambience is amazing! Love the rooftop overlooking the city! The food was delicious and lived upto our standard! The beef curry was absolutely on point! The crispy fried fish was good too!
Asian fusion in a rooftop bar/restaurant setting. Came here for dinner and we chose the outdoor area. Nice evening view and as the sun set, music from neighbouring places could be heard.
Service was friendly and quick... food is good. Steamed rice on the other hand is too mushy. Apart from this, I personally feel that the desserts are over-priced. We ordered the Creme Brulee and Panna Cotta. Felt that portion is a bit small for the price of $13 each.
Will stick to the mains in future ")

A quaint rooftop bar/restaurant serving Asian Fusion dishes. I particularly loved the Chilli Garlic Prawns. The prawns were massive and the garlic really brought out the flavour of the prawns. I wasn’t a fan of the Tamarind Fish, but the sourness went well with the rice. Quick and efficient service. A great place for lunch and dinner.
We went here for groupon deal. It was good amount for 2 for 4p groupon deal. Friendly staff and fast service and meal was very delicious. There are outside table as well and seems like kids friendly for during a lunch time.
Ideal venue for a get together with a rooftop dining and bar, centrally located. Pan Asia food 6-7/10, good presentation, but it can be sharper and more authentic fusion, drinks 8/10 and plenty of it.
I’ve been here on more than one occasion and I enjoy coming here for drinks and a bit of dinner. Love the funky interior of this restaurant and bar, it’s got a nice balcony area for warmer weather. It’s got some great Asian dishes such as curries and baos, and I’m also definitely a big fan of their cocktails.
Went up to the rooftop for their decent happy hour specials and ended up having some food.
The location is great, very central just on the corner of Little Bourke and Swanston.
The rooftop is a seated affair only due to the limited space, however there is a narrow standing bar off to the side. It feels very cramped in general.
The menu is modern Asian fusion, but more leaning towards SE-Asian region.
Crab & Pork Spring rolls - decent balance of crab in the springrolls, which were rolled in rice vermicelli and fried, which gives it loads more crunch. Great textures with the crisp iceberg.
Roti with Thai Curry sauce - the roti was hot and flaky, great for dipping in curries.
Lamb neck in Thai Red curry - same sauce with the roti. The lamb was tender and a nice slice of soft eggplant was also in there. Great with the sticky rice.
Red Piggy is another addition to Melbourne's vibrant modern Asian cuisine, complete with Instagram selfie neon sign, however it's more casual and affordable than the likes of other well known eateries of the same vain.
This place was a great find! Would not have ever discmovered it if not for zomato gold and we were so happy with how it was! The venue is absolutely adorable and the staff are very friendly. The only issue we had was that the entree king prawn barely had any prawns in it which was disappointing.
Highly recommend the other dishes we got though - the crispy pork and tofu bites were amazing and melt in your mouth, the red lamb curry was beautiful and their spring rolls are really good!
Set Lunch menu is quite good and totally a worth of money. The dressing is good as well. Everything is good, totally recommend.
Talk about a hidden gem! Without zomato I would’ve never found this place, walking past the entrance you only see a stairs and a lift.
Absolutely excellent food!
Really nice decor, friendly staff.
Though it is a bit on the pricey side the food is definitely good enough to deserve the higher price tag.
My only complaint would be that the dishes are quite small, especially my slow cooked pork belly; only three pieces and a small salad.
So, not a place to fill you up, but it will taste good.
Totally recommend. If it wasn't for zomato gold, we would've never have found this place on our own. The venue is cute, even has a few spots to take insta pics. There's an outdoor setting as well but I prefer being inside. We had an early dinner which just meant the service was good. Totally recommend the lemon grass squid. It is so nice and you can tell the squid was fresh since it was gummy and stringy. We had the slow cooked pork belly and crispy pork belly with crispy tofu. The slow cooked pork belly was tiny in terms of serving and it's pretty over priced for that dish. Presentation was nice and the crispy pork belly and crispy tofu better. The mango lemon grass panna cotta is a taste explosion. Would recommend coming here.
Food was great, really enjoyed the ambience. Staff were really friendly too, 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to chill and have asian food
Since opening its doors in early January 2019, I have been to Red Piggy on a number of occasions - for drinks, for late afternoon snacks and drinks, and for dinner twice.
Th name has some warmth to it because Red in Chinese means good luck, and Piggy, is one of the 12 Chinese Zodiac signs, and it just so happens that 2019 is the Year of the Pig. How timely is that? You think if we go there often there will be some good luck upon us in this Piggy Year? Hahaha!
Red Piggy is a fusion Asian Restaurant/Bar. Their dishes are very fun and colourfully presented but please do note that their servings are on the smaller size and meant for sharing.
🔆LOCATION🔆
Red Piggy is off Little Bourke Street, very close to the corner of Swanston Street, just behind Bank of China. It is not a very obvious location however it is very centrally located.
I thought we could take the lifts up, but there was sign to use the stairs - seriously?
Going up the stairs, it really doesn't seem like much at all, passing through each floor and seeing random stuff here and there.
Once arrived and walk through the door, you see a lovely spacious dining area with beautiful straw baskets on the ceiling which reminds me of Vietnam. Tables and chairs are wooden, with a wall that has a nice black and white mosaic print. There are cute neon lights on various other walls which brings the effect of it being fun place. There is a long bar on one side and towards the back is double doors which goes out onto front open area which has a number of tables and chairs outside.
🔆SERVICE🔆
We had arrived quite early at 5pm, so there wasn't alot of people, only a few having drinks.
The waiter was very efficient and friendly and the food came out very fast.
🔆MENU/PRICE🔆
We opt to have the Tasting Menu which costs $30 per person for any 5 dishes to share. We picked the following dishes:
Crispy Pork Belly with apple Salad, $12.00
Beef Tataki, $14.00
(Cape Grim Beef Peppered and Seared Rare, petite Daikon & Pickle Ginger Sald with Wasabi Ponzu)
Braised Robbins Island Wagyu in mini Baguette, Pickled cucumber & fried shallots, $13,00
Crispy Rockling Fillet with Coconut Jackfruit Salad, $12.00
Boneless Crispy Chicken in Garlic, Palm Sugar & Lime Sauce, $12.00
Sides:Steamed Sticky Rice with Toasted Peanut & Sesame Crush, $5.00
Roti with Thai Curry Sauce, $5.00
Dessert:Callebaut Chocolate Anglaise with Honeycomb & Black Pepper Chocolate Shortbread, $13.00
Lemongrass Panna Cotta with Mango Puree, $13.00
🔆VERDICT🔆
We were being very naughty to order sides and dessert which was good because it was just enough as the dishes werent that big, more like Tapas sharing portion (entree size).
The crispy Pork Belly with Apple Salad was a bit average. The pork belly was overcooked so it was dry, it was crispy - but crispy dry so it was disappointing. However the apple salad was refreshing.
Beef Tataki - the beef was very thinly sliced and had good flavours the ponzu wasabi had a nice kick to it which is quite nice.
Wagyu in mini Baguette - the wagyu was dry, which was a shame, lacking in a sauce. Was my least favourite dish.
Crispy Rockling Fillet with Coconut Jackfruit Salad - the fish was well seasoned with great flavour and had great balace with the refreshing salad. Yum!
Boneless Crispy Chicken in Garlic, Palm Sugar & Lime Sauce - this was also quite yummy too! Love Fried Chicken haha!
The desserts was beautifully presented, but a little difficult to eat out of in the clear tumbler glass.
I really enjoyed my Lemongrass Panna Cotta, wish there was more of the Panna Cotta, seemed quite small serving for $13.
Overall a good place to catch up to enjoy some small tapas to share and drinks.
Hidden in that you would not know this place existed if you walked past it. Luckily there was someone standing outside hustling to get people in.
My friend and I felt like a cheeky beverage before dinner. Happy hour specials were pretty good. The thing that makes red piggy shine is the courtyard. Seeing the Melbourne skyline, it is quite something when you are in the middle of the CBD yet you feel like not many people are around being on the roof top. The four star rating is for the location alone. Cannot comment on the food
I will definitely be back for happy hour drinks with work colleagues.
3.5
It was an evening that started with a round of cocktails with Timinmelbourne and Split The Bill at the pre-launch of a new rooftop bar in the city.
As dinnertime struck, a quick search on EatClub showed a 30% off the bill deal at Red Piggy, so off we went!
Located at level 3, it was accessible via a few flights of stairs (no, thanks) or elevator (yes, please). Some eye-catching features at the venue were its bold white and black tiles, quirky neon lights and hanging rattan baskets doubling as lampshades.
As a group of five, the Tasting Menu for $35 per person was appealing with a choice of 2 entrées, 2 mains and 1 side designed to be shared. Working collectively, we each picked one item.
The Vietnamese Rice Paper Spring Rolls and Chicken Baos were some pretty good bud teasers. The spring rolls were tasty little morsels of crab and pork wrapped in rice paper and deep fried whilst the buttermilk chicken and Asian slaw worked together harmoniously amidst the soft baos.
Next up was the Roti With Red Curry Dipping Sauce. Although the bread wasn’t very flaky, the rich and velvety sauce held its own, making it a great accompaniment. This same sauce made another appearance in our Rich Red Thai Lamb Curry but against the meat, it didn’t stand out as much.
The dressing of the Crispy Pork & Tofu Bites was a distinct and unmissable taste of Maggi seasoning sauce. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind a little Maggi seasoning in my food every so often. It was pleasant overall and those sliced chillies sure packed a bit of heat but it was nothing a swig of beer couldn’t tame. Lol!
Given it was a quiet Thursday night, service wasn’t the most attentive. It would’ve been nice to be checked on and asked if we wanted another round of drinks in between or desserts at the end but, it was no major issue as I was more engrossed in my conversation with others at the table.
Wow! Up a lot of stairs or take the loft to the 3rd floor of this building w land you at Red Piggy. This is a great Asian fusion restaurant.
The best thing about eating w other food reviewers such as Split The Bill and Jojo Armani and others is that we can order a feed me menu! Woo hoo lol that was we can try a variety of dishes.
To start w I had a cocktail called Party Starter and whilst I didn’t dance on the table, my feet were moving under the table hahaha
The service was a bit slow to start but then things got moving, yay!!
He beers were good, I had a Hanoi beer for the first time and it was alright. More hoppy than most beers I’ve had recently.
Foodwise we shared some chicken bao, OMGosh yes!! This was amazing. Some pork belly spicy and yummy, spring roll crab ... delicious. The red curry was nice and the roti bread w the peanut sauce was so good that if they’d bottled it I’d have brought it hahaha.
They didn’t hold back on the spice either which was great. The outdoor seating area would be great for that intimate night out looking at the city lights.
Overall it was a great night w excellent company!
A fabulously located restaurant in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. There are plenty of food options to cater to everyone even the fussy eaters! Absolutely enjoyed every dish which came out in a timely fashion. Well priced and has generous portions. Cannot wait to come back soon!
I went here for my birthday dinner with a group of 10. The booking was so easy eventhough it was basically last minute. The service was lovely and helpful. We did the 5 dish tasting which was super fun. Very quick! Everyone loved the food.
They had a range amazing fun cocktails as well which we had before and after dinner.
The decor was very cute. Great outdoor area for drinks and smoking as well. Would definitely go back.
Delicious food at this great new joint on Little Bourke. I am from Perth and we typically don't eat asian cuisine much but this was absolutely fantastic. Look forward to coming here next time I'm in Melbourne. Great drinks too!
This trendy Asian infusion rooftop bar overlooking the Melbourne skyline is a hidden gem that is worth visiting! The gorgeous interior has a neon and vibrant interior and a lovely rooftop that wraps around the restaurant. We enjoyed calamari, crispy pork, and crispy chicken bao buns! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly! Make sure you head over an grab a few cocktails!
Been to this place 5 times in the last 2 months and I regret not coming even more! Brilliant little place on Little Bourke with great tasting food and drinks. Have been recommending it to all my friends and will continue to do so. A must visit!
Red Piggy on Little Bourke Street is a cute little Resto-Bar serving cocktails and pan Asian cuisine, and also offers a magnificent rooftop view of the Melbourne Skyline and St Paul Cathedral.
What no one told us was that to reach the resto-bar we had to climb three floors up (lifts were not working), and that steep climb made us; already famished, crazy hungry. 🤣🤣🤣
Called for prosecco wine, Beef Tataki, Crab Meat and Pork Spring Rolls, Crispy Rice Paper Prawn Cups, Slow Cooked Lamb Neck in Rich Red Curry and Roti with Thai Curry Sauce.
It would be right to say "Flavours, Taste and Beautifully cooked Meat' for everything we ordered except the Roti with Thai Curry. Roti was a bit on chewy side.
Dumplings and drinks are offered on discounted rate during Happy hours.
Tasting-Sized (Bite sized) portions makes it easier to try different dishes....Although the pricing seems a bit steep.
Their cocktails, what they are known for, are quite steeply priced, but definitely worth trying..Especially during happy hours.
Attendants are friendly and attentive, but service can be relaxed....But that's what you have gone to do.. TO CHILL
Red Piggy was a fantastic recommendation by a colleague of mine. The staff are well presented and seem to have great knowledge about the menu and surrounding areas. The food was good value and tasty. Hope to come back soon and try more of the menu !
So many vegan options - i was spoilt for choice! I had heard about Red Piggy from a friend of mine, who loved the tasting menu where for $30pp you can choose 5 dishes to taste off the menu. Unfortunately I wasnt able to do this due to the size of our group and the fact that I was only 1 of 2 vegans, but the a la cart menu did not disappoint. I ordered the vegan curry, Vietnamese noodles and spring rolls. Oh and the east meets west lychee cocktail. Everything delicious! Would definitely recommend.
A beautiful and vibrant venue located on Little Bourke in the heart of Melbourne. Delicious food with plenty of options. Heaps of options for drinks with a great cocktail menu as well. Will be back for sure!
A lively new venue located in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. Came to this venue on a Saturday night with a friend. Loved the drinks and the food was delicious. Place was busy but the service was still great. Will be back for sure!
Red Piggy is a fantastic venue located on Little Bourke. The restaurant features a rooftop that slots perfectly into Melbourne's dining scene. The restaurant has a menu that is filled with plenty of delicious options at a very reasonable price. Red Piggy also has a great cocktail menu that has plenty of variety!
Despite this being a new place I have found myself here 3 times in the last 2 months. The food is absolutely delicious and the place itself is awesome. All my work colleagues and friends love this place for lunch or dinner and drinks! Will continue to come back for the great food, atmosphere and the pleasant staff. A must try!
A hidden gem with a gorgeous rooftop bar. We happened on happy hour and indulged in some wonderful cocktails. The three of us us went for the $30 ahead/ 5 dish selection which was an amazing deal! Luscious hunks of pork belly on a bright sharp salad, a noodle dish, greens and mushrooms, lightly battered barramundi and a red curry of lamb neck. We were very full but managed to share a yummy chocolate anglais dessert. Would highly recommend whether for a drink or a meal. Will be back!
This place definitely need a shoutout! Amazing environment, it’s like a rooftop bar restaurant! Excellent and polite service, food is da bombbbb! Ppl need to discover this place and give a thumbs up!!!
Styled up Asian pub food. Not big serves but in the CBD that's expected. Across the road from the brightly lit 8bit you will find a small door with stairs to the left and a pokey lift on the right. Lift was broken so it was a bit of hike upstairs. I feel for the staff having to carry goods up and rubbish down by hand! The fit upstairs out is very shmick and make sure you grab a pic with the neon angel wings near the entrance - kinda tacky but the photos will look awesome.
There's a tight outdoor area with string lights and no real great views due to the high walls surrounding. Still it's fresh air. We had the lamb, chicken and pork. Well plated although the meats were a tad overcooked. I liked the chicken the most especially the accompanying slaw. Some of the dishes were spicier than expected so perhaps ask the staff first if that's an issue. Service was friendly and relaxed, full marks. If you looking for a place to drink and prefer something different from the usual pub grub then come here.
The $30pp for 5 dishes was the perfect choice to try a little bit of everything. The lemongrass chicken with durian sauce was unique. The flavour of durian was subtle. The grilled squid with tamarin sauce and sticky rice curry was definitely a must order.
Service was good and being on eatclub it was great value.
This place is just unbelievable, the wide variety of Asian-fusion style food, the wide variety of drinks, the location, staff and service are all to die for
Lovely Asian food, close to many shops with easy access. Lovely vibe and great view upstairs. Great variety of drinks. Staff was great and customer service was excellent
Gem of a place on Little Bourke. Came here for a small work function and found it to have a bubbly and lively atmosphere. The menu was well priced and generous with portions and had plenty of variety as well. Had plenty of options for vegetarians and the staff were very helpful as well.
Red Piggy, what a place! An absolutely buzzing atmosphere on a Saturday night and this is before I even get to the food. We came here at around 8pm in a group of 4 and loved every minute of our time there. A lively environment without comprising our ability to converse without interruption. Fantastic food with lots of variety and great cocktails as well!
A beautifully spacious and inviting place. Came here based on a recommendation and this is a place i'll definitely be coming back to. Highlights were definitely the staff who were very polite and knowledgable about the menu. Will definitely be recommending Red Piggy to all my friends!
Can here on the EatClub 30% off deal! What a bargain it was for 2pp it was $20pp for their 5 plate tasting menu. (Original price $30pp). Although the dishes are daily small 5 plates are definitely enough to keep you full.
Our favourite was the lamb neck curry which had a good spicy kick to it and creamy sauce. The other dishes were also delicious with Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese influences.
Would love to come back for their happy hour!
Really enjoyed the asian fusion dishes available here!
The outside area is the perfect spot to enjoy drinks and food on a summers night. I tried the greens, vietnamese noodles and the rockling+ coconut and papaya salad.
The salad was really fresh and tasty and the fish was cooked very nicely. The noodles were quite nice however they were just ordinary noodles, there was nothing outstanding about them.
I definitely want to go back and try some of the other dishes though! (prices are very good too)
A fantastic addition to Melbourne's thriving food scene. Came here for the first time in a gorup of 6. The meals are very generous considering they are well priced and the venue is spacious and able to fit large groups without compromising on personal space. Cocktail list is also very good and the floor staff are very knowledgable about the menu and the drinks that are available. Will be back for sure!
Sitting on a rooftop, somewhere in the city, on a warm Summer evening… all the while, sipping on cocktails and enjoying the surrounding social atmosphere. Newcomer Red Piggy is all about the cool vibes, with an east meets west theme that shines most brightly through their food and drink menu. Finding the little pig logo along Little Bourke Street, venture up to level 3 and settle in for a tastefully good time. Welcoming customers with an open bar in which Red Piggy’s signature cocktails are concocted, their single level space extends from a cosy indoor seating area to an L-shaped outdoor area with smaller group tables available.
Came to this place last week and what a place - awesome atmosphere and a great menu. Came with one other friend but I can definitely see this as being good for groups. Cocktails are absolutely delicious as well. Had the vietnamese scotch quail egg and the pork belly but the highlight by far was the lamb neck curry. Definitely looking forward to returning to this place in a bigger group for a couple of drinks and some delicious food.
The staff here was super friendly and helpful and the food was even better! It has such a cool vibe and the food is absolutely delicious! This is one of the best Asian fusion I have been too by far.
Apart from the dodgy entrance on ground floor and no hand soap in toilets this place is a little gem! The $30 pp for 5 dishes was perfect 👌 our favourite was the crab spring rolls and lamb curry. i would recommend having 2 dishes served at a time for 2 people because 5 at once didnt stay hot for long. we sat outside and it was a beautiful night, ambience is lovely. The waitress that looked after us was really nice 😀 overall a good casual place to eat and the food is very quick😉
From interior to flavours, there was nothing at Red Piggy that didn’t wow us! Every unique dish is rich with incredible flavours and elements. Food was well priced with great portions. Cocktails are fantastic and we were told by the staff that they have a 3 hour happy hour as well! We will certainly be back!
What an absolute gem of a place. Came here on a 30+ degree day to find that they have a huge 3 hour happy hour from 4-7pm. $6 asahis and $6 spirits, what an absolute bargain. This is before we even get to the food which was generous in portions and delicious to boot! Definitely on my list of places to come back to in 2019!
Came here twice within one week, both during happy hour, as the first visit was quite rushed and we were only able to get a feel of the ambience and have a quick glass of wine. Today we decided to come for the $1 dumpling special which is only available on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the happy hour period. I ordered an espresso martini this time as cocktails were $9 each and since we weren’t in a rush, I wanted to slowly enjoy it. To my slight disappointment the dumplings were only available in two flavors - pork and vegetarian. It would’ve been nice if there were more flavors available to choose from. Ordered 6 of each flavor which came to a total of 12, making it three pieces of each flavor per person. It was good as a pre-dinner appetizer but the taste was pretty average. The dishes on the regular menu actually looked very enticing but we already made plans to go somewhere else for dinner so perhaps we’ll go again another night for their actual food. The outdoor rooftop area is actually really nice to sit in during this kind of weather and that’s one of the main reasons I like this place. I also do want to try more cocktails there :)
i left this place blown away, the service and aesthetics of the place are amazing but the food is by far what impressed me the most, the prices are fairly low and the food represents the cuisine perfectly, very good value for money extremely happy
wonderful ambiance and environment to be in, especially on the rooftop, the service was fast and snappy and the food was outstanding. very impressive place and highly recommend.
Fantastic place on little bourke. Great happy hour specials between 4pm and 7pm and is suitable for groups. Had the $30 tasting menu and loved the amount of variety and plenty of options to enjoy. Will definitely return and will recommend to all my friends.
Scouring the city looking for a place big enough to fit our group and came across this absolute gem. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is great value and the restaurant is in a great location on little Bourke.
Came to RP last week with a few friends. Staff were extremely friendly and food came out promptly. Portion sizes at Red Piggy are very good considering the prices. Very spacious and would definitely come back again!
Had the pleasure of 2 dinners in the past 2 days
love the atmosphere.. excellent professional and friendly staff. amazing spicey tofu thoroughly recommend. Also, a great appointment of outdoor servery and just wish we were not 1 hr away.
The other choices looked fantastic.. nice and large presented well
What a cool place! The decor is trendy and wonderful, the food is truly excellent with wines to match.Friendly people, nice service.Highly recommended.
Wow what a delicious restaurant - visually stunning. Attentive staff. The menu is so good I really couldn’t choose.Don’t hesitate just book this wonderful restaurant
I will recommend you to go there and enjoy there tasty food in very cheap prices. You can visit with family or friend.Suitable for both.Good Service.
My friends recommend me to go there with family.I have tried this and i think a best restaurant for family visit.Deals are nice and reasonable in price.Tasty and fresh Food.
Tasty and Fresh food with super menu.I like the environment of place very well.I Choosed 30$ deal of 5 dishes.Prices are reasonable.Highly recommended.
Cute little rooftop restaurant with cheap and tasty Asian fusion menu. We opted to go for the $30pp deal which includes a selection of 5 dishes. We chose the quail scotch eggs, the prawn cups, the bbq pork neck, the fried chicken and the lamb curry. The prawn cups were super fresh and tasty and the pork neck was really tender and had a great chilli hit. The scotch eggs were also a nice bite size snack. I found the chicken a bit dry though and the lamb curry a bit fatty and slightly too creamy. The wine menu is also fairly limited.
Red Piggy is a hidden restaurant on Little Bourke St, between Swanston and Elizabeth St. We came in the afternoon, after lunch hours and there were plenty of seats available.
We ordered fried chickens, durian chickens, Vietnamese yee mee, son-in-law eggs and panacotta for dessert.
The eggs were our favourite. The rest were quite good but not mind blowing.
For Fusion dishes, I must say that the price was very affordable. Each dish was about 12 to 15 dollars. You can order their tasting option so for$30 per person, you can try 5 dishes.
The restaurant was quite cosy and they had indoor and outdoor seating.
The staff were friendly too. Overall, it was a good experience.
Not terrible. Pretty nice fusion cuisine. Really rate the atmosphere and fitout.
Food was decent and what you might expect from an establishment of this calling; Asian fusion.
Happy hour seems decent and the seating in summer would be worth a revisit !
We went to Red Piggy during happy hour and started with cocktails. We opted for the $30pp for 5 dishes option on the menu which turned out really good. We got:
- Wagyu Brisket
- Yee Mee Noodle
- Ko Moo Yang
- Low and Slow pork belly
- Slow cooked Lamb
These were all really yum, nothing to really fault them. All of them were a little spicy so if you don’t like spice then I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooftop is lovely and the cocktails are great.
The food at Red Piggy is surprisingly great with a cute little court yard. I loved the curry! With some good food and drink deals to accommodate diversifying satisfaction. The service was prompt with some nice interior magical touches such as neon wings to flaunt your happy belly. Love this hidden gem x

Females aged between 20-35 with an Instagram obsession and a healthy sense of exhibitionism will make this the equivalent of their new dressing room - for there lurks a photo opp around every corner, due to the now-requisite neon signs sporting cheeky statements.
The rooftop will be appreciated by city slickers (like tapioca balls in bubble tea, you can never have enough) and while the cocktails could use a bit more punch, offerings such as the lamb neck curry is decent (meat suppleness is evident and appreciated) and the prawn crackers eat like a naughtier fried version of a rice paper roll. Just make sure you don’t spend too much time photographing the latter or it’ll go soggy.
The two dishes and cocktail equated to exactly $50 so don’t go expecting cheap eats in Chinatown - but let’s face it - the bells, whistles and future likes for your photographic efforts are also included.
