First time here and had such a good experience! Didn’t expect much from a mall restaurant but I left feeling quite satisfied with the selection, flavor and quality of the food. Steamed dumplings were amazing! Spring rolls with plum dipping sauce were full, tasty and fresh. Beef Kuey Teow was delicious and well executed and the Sichuan fried rice was full of flavor. I think that the staff were friendly enough and the prices are exceptionally low. Great pot of jasmine tea to seal the deal.
Really enjoyed my meal here. I ordered soft shell Crab with fried garlic, satay skewers and prawn dumpling. Everything came out very quickly and it was great. Rice was a little dry and skewers had good flavour but was also very dry. Was feeling a little unwell so I had the date and ginger tea which was just what I needed. Would return for the tea alone.

We went there yesterday on a friend's recommendation and I'm happy with this little discovery.
We ordered pan-fried pork and chives dumplings ($10.80 for 8 pieces), chicken and prawn wontons in special chilli sauce ($11.20 for 12 pieces) and steamed BBQ buns (2 for $6). The restaurant was fairly busy for a weekday afternoon, but the wait time was OK. Service was fast and friendly. Seating was comfortable.
I always have a soft spot for chicken and prawn wontons, and here they didn't disappoint. Many dumpling joints use just chilli oil and soy sauce to create a base for this dish; but here at Angie's the sauce is more like a vinegar-based sweet chilli sauce. Not authentic, but I still enjoyed them. I'm on the fence about the pan-fried pork and chives dumplings – they were huge compared to many dumpling joints I've been, but the shortcoming was that the dumplings tasted as if they were boiled first, and then pan-fried on one side. The dumpling skin was very thick and it wasn't the easiest to eat. The flavour was fine though. I highly recommend the steamed BBQ buns, very authentic.
Overall we enjoyed the dining experience. Happy to go back again if we are in the area. Please note they charge a surcharge on card payments.
Came here before a movie for quick bite. Got prawn dumplings and chicken skewers. Didn’t have any myself but my partner loved them! Helpful staff, accommodated that we were in a rush and served our food quickly. Would come back to give it a proper try!
Always come here and most of the time order the same thing. Pan fried pork and chive dumpling are amazing. Tried the sizzling Mongolian beef for the first time and was very tasty will definitely order that again, also tried the teriyaki chicken which was a bit of a let down didn’t taste the best but other than that never had an issue
Came here for dinner tonight . We Had the pork dumpling and combination fried rice and beans . Delicious food reasonable price . Good service .
The dumplings are amazing here, just can’t get enough. Usually we get pork or vegetarian. Good service and friendly staff as well. Had the iced tea and blue lemonade to drink.
Can’t go wrong with Angie’s and this one has a few more special dishes when compared to the Glen Waverley one. Great dumpling selections and hot sizzling plates of meat and noodles. We only had a light lunch today but definitely will come back for some spicy dishes next time.

Located in the bustling Knox Ozone – watching the chefs make the dumplings is truly one of life’s simple pleasures. And if you can, I highly recommend sitting outdoors – even when it’s cold so that you can enjoy the cooking show. The venue is quite nice and the internal decor really catches your eye.
Open late, good quality dumplings and great prices. Can’t ask for more, except for maybe a bottle of water for each table, without having to ask each time. Oh and the satay chicken skewers are actually cooked in the middle unlike most Asian food places. For that alone I would keep going back 👍🏻👍🏻
Great food and decent portions. Chinese restaurant that’s catered to a western palate but it still manages to maintain a decent level of authenticity. Cuisine is mostly southern Chinese style dishes.
Service is usually pretty quick, would recommend this place for groups as you would get more bang for buck and variety when you order dishes to share.
Not sure if it’s due to COVID but you can order via your mobile now which is good if you’re ever feeling antisocial or the wait staff are occupied.The staff have generally been attentive during my prior visits.
Overall, would recommend especially for group meals.
The family came here for lunch on a rainy Saturday and the place was reasonably busy. We chose to sit inside as it was a bit warmer.
Staff weren't overly friendly and were focused on their tasks but nothing to complain about.
Although menus were provided ordering was done by scanning a QR code and then via a web site which was convenient as it allowed you to see pictures of the menu items.
There was a decent variety of dishes all reasonably priced.
Once ordered the food came out quickly. Our fried rice was ok, a bit bland but adding soy sauce helped. The other dishes were tastier.
Happy to come back again.
Quite a few selection of dumplings and a wide selection of other dishes too. We ordered 5 dishes to share between the two of us and they were all very tasty.
I highly recommend the Pork Dumplings in Special Chilli Sauce! It has a very tasty chilli oil, slightly sweet sauce, that goes well on everything!!!
Fantastic food and service. Food was served so quickly we barely had time to pour our drinks! Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we weren't rushed out or anything.
This beef noodle soup is insanely delicious! Reminds me of my HK childhood haha! Perfect after a looooong day of work!
Return visit to this chinese restaurant. The ambiance was great as we chose outside part. The serve was nice and the foods were ok. We ordered special fried rice and wonton noodle soup for our lunch. We also ordered lemon tea and blue lemonade. The 2nd drink was intrique us. Not a bad drink. Price is ok, not too draining our pocket. Definitely recommended. Unfortunately, we forgot to take pictures for the meals..
