Incredible service, and food and event design. We have booked Kartel for our corporate functions twice this year, and they never disappoint. Best caterer in Melbourne by far, and Viv is incredible to work with. Highly recommended.
The food at this Cafe is awesome and really well priced. Hidden away so always plenty of seats. If you like good clean food I highly recommend it.

Times have changed since I was last at this cafe. I called in here to grab a coffee. The service was really quick which was good as it was quiet.
My strong skinny latte was ok, pretty average really. The flavour of the coffee was slightly bitter and unpleasant.

Had a lunch last week at Kartel. It is a good place to meet your buddies and have delicious food. The meals are reasonably priced and coffee is good too. This place has a vibe of positive energy and most staff are friendly, except the one who didn't seem happy when I was taking pictures. :o)
This is my go-to for lunch in the city - the food is delicious, service impeccable and when you struggle to get your lunchtime favourite item by 1:00 pm you know you are on to a good thing. I definitely recommend going early - 12:00 pm is ideal and you must try the sandwiches. I miss going here now
