As usual the food is delish, the quail and fish were amazing. But the service is quite bad. You need to order the quail and they only accept around 10 quail or so which means 20pcs of quails. The lady who was serving us was kinda rude and put up some attitude. I havent tried their main location but will probably do soon
Been here a few times and the famous spicy quail will always be my favourite! 😍 will definitely come back here just for them. Tastes the best when eaten with the hot steamed rice.
LIT⭐️!: best quail I've had! Juicy and flavoursome! The prawn noodle dish and sweet and sour barramundi exceeded expectations! Not to mention, really affordable.
NOT SO LIT: Waiter a bit slow on clearing table and ran out of a few dishes but to be fair, we came in pretty late for dinner.
Thanks for having us, will be back! X
I always walked passed this little unassuming place in he CBD and heard about their famous quail a few times now. I've always wanted to try it, I can tell you it did not disappoint, it was defiantly worth the wait.
Quail was out of this world. Highly recommend to give this a go. The flavours are very unique and will leave you craving more. Melvin was also very friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.
You just gotta try dayymn quails. Absolutely delicious. Sweet salty, spicy all in one bite. Service was great but this place gets packed fast so dine early. The sweet and sour fish... amazing! Overall, wonderful experience.

Tried their quail for my first visit. The taste is great! Fried quail with crispy skin covered with delicious sweet and spicy sauce. The food came out quite fast, around 10-15 mins. However, the service needs to be improved. Give more smiles, explanations, and be more patient with the new customers.
The picture says it all. Super moist and crispy at the same time, love the sauce (although I wish it was a little bit spicier). Must try the quails and get ready to have your hand dirty. Worth it.
Tried their famous spicy quail. Its tasted like chicken but because it's smaller in size it's also harder to eat l. Difficult to eat, especially the wing part. A person can easily finish 3pcs of quail + one bowl of rice.
Always love the spicy quail! It's their specialty and the reason why we go to Mabrown. We also ordered the sambal green beans and that's also delicious!
Mabrown raises the bar when it comes to quails! I came from Indonesia and i thought that our local quails dishes were super nice and the best
I was wrong.
Their Spicy Quails were super nice! It was honey sweet, lil bit spicy and UMAAAMIIIIIIIII!!!
The only downside is the non-spicy quails was not as good as the spicy one.
Go on. Try, and you will be back.

Drop by for a warm bowl of noodles or a steaming hot Char Kway Teow. Ma Brown offers a great assortment of all the Malaysian dishes at an affordable price. The seating is nice and service average. Overall great value for money.
Hoho.. this Mabrown was opened by Malaysian and got a famous bird dish. Must try !!!! Do not go after lunch, probably already sold out.
