Great vibe and staff who love to play old school tunes while making delicious coffee. A great spot to grab coffee and run, or plenty of seating to relax and listen to the music.
The only cafe that is around my office area, but love the consistent quality for coffee and food provided.
I always had my usual chai latte and chicken salad baguette for lunch, love the baguette toasted to perfection. If anyone that is around that area, the cafe is a little gem.
I love the food and the coffee here but have to say my favorite part of this place is Harry and his crew!
Very tasty food. Sidearm has a number of dishes I frequently keep returning to. Most notably the Nasi Goreng and the Pad Thai are my top two fav's.
Harry does a special chili version of the Nasi, and it is amazing!
Burgers are always juicy and delicious, Breakfasts are also good with special sauces to add extra flavor.
The drunken chicken is my favorite roll, I love the flavor combination of Cashews, chicken, special mayo and coriander!
Always friendly staff, and a great place to meet up with friends for lunch.
Crisp Burgers!. Wandered in and had a Wagyu beef burger - one of the best burgers on offer anywhere in melbourne imho. Custom sauce, friendly staff, chilled out tunes, and a unique warehouse feel makes for a warm place to grab a great meal and beat the cold!
Delicious food, great coffee, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend Sidearm Cafe. The food was fresh, delicious and affordably priced. The drunken chicken sandwich and nasi goreng gets the big thumbs up. The staff were super friendly and could accommodate my food allergy - dairy free. If you were dining alone, there were gourmet food magazines on the table that you could peruse while enjoying your meal. The gallery on the side of the cafe was also a nice touch.
The cafe is a much needed addition to the area, I will definitely be going back to sample more of the yummy menu!
Good service, had an awesome home made beef burgundy pie. Worth a visit if you need a coffee in the neighbourhood. Nice art gallery attached.

Awesome coffee and excellent food. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great chillout place. I was there on Friday and had the nasi gorang which was just like I've had in Malaysia. Also had a blue cheese, basil and salami roll which was great. Highly recommend it food was great and very well priced. My new lunch spot!

Had a Gozleme Spinach and Cheese and it was absolutely delicious. Light and easy to eat. Perfect flavour combo with a little side of yogurt as the perfect compliment and perfectly seasoned. Great music, excellent service. Don’t hesitate to pop in for a bite or cups coffee.

When I have meetings (or shopping at DFO during the week) in the area I always make sure to pop into Sidearm Cafe. Why? Because the staff are absolutely awesome, to match their top notch coffee & menu food items from savory to sweet.
I normally go for a cherry ripe slice, coconut milk flat white and their Gozelme's which are so damn good.
I highly recommend to check out Sidearm you will not be disappointed!
One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne. The coffee is great, and it's worth coming by for lunch as the food is fantastic. The staff are lovely. If you have the time, it's worth browsing the connected gallery space.
It's been a while since having lunch there.
But today there was a Turkish roll with Italian salami and melted brie. Brilliant!
