Coming to Woodside is like visiting an old friend. The place as this warm, inviting and comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to nestle into a corner with a good book or podcast and drink coffee and snack on toasted sandwiches.
Today I came for brunch and had the Rueben with a Pickle and was fresh, tasty and actually very filling. That, along with a latte that had the most amusing coffee art all made for a nice quick brunch as I keep busy moving around Melbourne.
Thank you to the staff who were so lovely as I tried to decide what to eat and helped me out with a recommendation.
Notes: this place gets busy so come early for those prime dining times, dietaries catered for, suitable for vegetarians, cafe is wheelchair friendly although it's a little tight inside, kid friendly, takeaway available and the parking is reasonable in Cardigan Street.
First visit today
Ordered the Roast Beef and Salad plate, very rarely do I order Roast Beef in a cafe as most of the time it is crap, this was quite tasty and reasonably priced
The staff do their job, one lady was very helpful
The staff "joked^ around with some of the customers which I personally like, will return
Cosy, friendly vibe that never fails to make me feel at home in the heart of a bustling city. Top notch latte art also (if you ask nicely;)) I took my Granny here when she came to visit and she still hasn’t stopped raving about it. If that isn’t gonna convince you I don’t know what will.
