Went here for the first time today as it is our new local. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very good sandwich, eggs on toast and coffee. Good prices for a coffee and food. They also have The Age newspaper and a high chair for our baby. Very spacious. One of the best cafe experiences we have had all year. Highly recommended.
Bacon wrap to die for. Just the right ratios of bacon, egg and sauce. If I could avoid the heart attack, I’d definitely have these daily! Try it!
Absolute favourite cafe in all of Melbourne. The food is incredibly amazing. A friend and I were there last week and we got the big breakfast champions and the Harissa eggs.I would recommend 11/10! The staff are always so nice and happy and actually look like they're enjoying themselves. The young girl with the red hair always ensures my experience is 11/10. Never fails to let me down. Majority of the reason I come there other Han the food of course.
Everyone should check it out at least once!
Really cute unpretentious local cafe. Delightful service, well priced menu with a good range of 'grab and go' options. I like an almond milk latte and I'm pretty critical - mine was great. Would definitely re visit for a relaxed brunch.
Love this place! Coffee is consistently awesome, the staff are lovely and the food is great too! Definitely coming back with friends next time!

Great little café. A slightly vintage/Rustic décor but a truly warm and cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately its not open on weekends so you cant roll in with your active wear for a midday brunch. But if you can make it during the week... all I can say is wow! The food is top notch. Reasonably priced for an inner city café with a good variety of budget options if that concerns you. I havnt been in for breakfast, only lunch a few times now. The Italian chef there definitely takes pride in the food being served, with quality dishes available to order. The southern style chicken is jaw dropping good, were talking BUTTERMILK FRIED Chicken!! one of the best ive had to be honest. Ive also had the beef burger special on Tuesday which was also really well balanced and juicy. Burritos fly out the door here, im not a big fan of burritos in general, and havnt tried this one, it may be something to think about. The menu is in the middle of being updated and the word coming out is to stay tuned for in house smoked brisket. Cant wait...cant wait! Recommended 4 out 5 for mine.
Nice n delicious breakfast well executed with good portion value for what you pay.

Great, strong coffee. The meals we had were huge so good value for money. The beans with my veggie breakfast were especially delicious. Nice range of menu items too. We'll definitely eat here again.
The coffee is delicious, and so was my lovely brekky. Great local vibe with friendly staff. Looking forward to trying some of the desserts next time! Will visit again
Nice little local Cafe run by Vietnamese ladies. I've tried their Vietnamese coffee as well as a chicken avocado sandwich. Both of these tasted fantastic and the portion size was also good for the price. Overall experience was very lovely.
Popular little place - always a good sign! Great mild coffee roasted locally apparently. Choice if biscuits, slices and wraps. Definitely recommended

My friend and I enjoyed coffee and a late breakfast here. They use St Ali beans and we enjoyed our coffees. We ordered main meals from the breakfast selection and it was delicious! Portions were generous, ingredients were fresh and it was very tasty.
BUT - it took 30 MINUTES to receive our coffees. And 50 MINUTES to receive our food. There was only one other table dining in, so this wait was really bad. We were very relaxed so we didn't mind, but it will mean I won't go here if I'm limited for time!

Lovely Cafe close to North Melbourne station. Excellent soy cappuccinos, good menu and prices for breakfast and lunch. They even sell some paintings!!
SMALL QUIRKY LOCAL CAFE ON HAWKE STREET - NOT FAR FROM NTH MELB STATION
There are lots of coffee / cafe options in west & north melbourne now. Apart from the strip of restaurants on Errol, there's a cafe right in the North Melbourne Station, Toasta on the corner of Roden and Adderley, Apollo on Hawke St and now the Butcher Shop Cafe - also on Hawke St.
Butcher Shop serves simple meals - burgers, panini, croissants and pastries.
It has several indoor tables - one is a largish communal table that would be good for groups, a few small outdoor tables on the Hawke Street footpath.
For people with mobility issues, there is one small step up on entering the cafe but otherwise flat surface.
Furniture is movable so could easily accomodate a wheelchair.
Accepts cards and cash.
Open Mon - Fri: 7 am - 3pm and Sta 8 am - 2 pm.
