The banh mi at N Lee is delicious. They are generous with serving size, stuffing the baguettes until they’re really full, and they are always made fresh. The price is also quite reasonable given the size of the banh mi.
There is often a line around lunchtime so there can be a bit of a wait but the service is quite fast.

This is my go-to place for a work day lunch and I’ve been coming for 4 years now. Breads are baked in house from scratch and pork are stir fried right in front of you after you order. All the ingredients are extremely fresh. BBQ pork shoulder banh mi is the best!

How yummy are these meat ball rolls!? The meat ball is super tender and juicy that it just melts in your mouth. Their sauce and everything combined is just so delicious.

The bread rolls are a bit small though but they bake them in house and it was crispy and nice. A bit of a hit and miss with the bread though.

I only go here for their crackling pork Bahn Mi (Vietnamese baguette/roll). It’s one of the best, and at $9.50, it’s reasonably priced. They are quite generous on the meat. And the baguette has that crunchiness, but not overly crunchy (some baguette are so crunchy making it hard to eat). But they are very busy at lunch time, so it pays to come early to avoid the long queue.

Not the best banh mi but still quite good in the cbd. 7.50 for the mixed ham roll which is not too bad. They have a slight skinner bread roll so I guess the fillings are slightly less? I wish they have Vietnamese coffee to go with it rather than not too good normal coffee.

Popped by to take away a pork belly Bahn mi on a regular weekday. There was a queue which moved quickly enough, and It cost about $7.8. Generous amount of carrots and cucumber, very tasty pork belly. I wish the bread was toasted just slightly longer, but that doesn’t detract from the overall good lunch experience I had. One of the better Bahn mis in CBD

Excellent Banh Mi... it’s filling, flavourful, loaded with veggies, greens, meat and generous amount of pate. Coffee is not bad.
Overall a great place for quick lunch .... there are plenty of options to choose from at pocket friendly prices and service is super quick.

Favourite bahn mi in Melbourne! The baguette is the perfect amount of crispy flakeyness, while being soft and fresh on the inside. The fillings are plentiful with a generous amount of picked onions, carrots, cucumber, coriander and your choice of meat (my favourite option being the delectable BBQ pork which is fried up in a pan before being added to your bahn mi last minute).

What makes it the best bahn mi in Melbourne are the sauces/condiments. They put a generous slather of pate, viet butter, a squeeze of hoi sin, and a squeeze of another substance in a squeezy bottle which makes the whole thing a saucy delight, perfectly complementing the fillings.

The line is always huge past 12:15pm, but it moves super quickly.

Spot On. I love the business model here, find something you want to do, then do it bloody well!

Best Banh Mi in Melbourne.

Two years ago i had no idea these little Viet treasure rolls existed. Stumbled across a line out the door at lunchtime, though id see what the hype was about and give one of these little salad roll lookin things a go..... Mother of God - what a treat to the taste buds!! When i go there now, i get a vanilla slice for lunch and the Banh Mi as dessert!

Solid banh mi at a reasonable price. Had the roasted pork banh mi. It was good. Priced at around $10/banh mi.

A nice cafeteria like Vietnamese bakery cafe in the CBD. I ordered the crackling pork roll which had the right balance of tasty flavours and was a pretty decent size. The price is a little more expensive than your usual banh mi but that’s expected due to the location. Definitely recommended for quick lunch!

Best banh mi in CBD and inner city! The bread is also soft and flaky but not too flaky. Fillings are delicious and just the right amount of sauce. Super smashable!
