This is a coffee place inside NAB building. Banana bread seems to be a crowd favourite since it often runs out at around 2pm. Waiting time for me is around 4-5mins early in the morning for my cappuccino and toasted bread but sometimes it extends up to 8mins during coffee peak hours. There are several tables for those who wanted to dine in with a good feel of the sunlight which passes through the semi-translucent roof. But as for me, I always just have a take away food due to the morning work rush. Coffee is good and as mentioned, the banana bread is one of the best I have had so far. It stays soft even after a few hours. Definitely worth a try for those who haven’t tried this cafe yet.

I often get their banana bread for breakfast when I’m running late for work. For $3.90, I get it toasted, and with butter- tastes pretty good and also quite filling.
When I saw the name of this place, it reminded me the episode that I had morning snack at the tuck shop when I was a primary student. Located at the ground floor adjacent to National Bank Australia, this eatery possesses a prime position as compared to the other competitors. In addition of serving tasty food and providing friendly services, no wonder that there are so many officers lined up in a queue with smiling faces.

Should be called "Gold Mine". As some other reviewer said of this place, it's a testament to Melbourne's ability to stick a coffee shop into any open space. There's a cavernous atrium at the base of the NAB office tower, so let's put up a cubby for adults and dispense coffee from it! The flat white I had from here was decent, not super-strong like a barista-driven place, but Tuck Shop is catering to a mass audience, not just espresso aficionados. And what an audience! The bank building is such a huge place that it has two banks of lifts, one for the lower floors, one for the penthouse storeys, otherwise passengers would be slowed like they were on the Frankston train line. As I sat and sipped my cuppa, I watched as many of the thousands of people who work here queued up for some tucker. In this part of the CBD, with a plentitude of cafes to choose from, Tuck Shop must be doing something right to get a loyal crowd. The youthful staff seemed to be turning the diners over quickly. I wouldn't call this a "destination" cafe, but it's OK if you're in the area.

One of the best cafes i will ever visit. This cafe offers an array of appetizing and flavoursome meals, with a delectable variety that would be suited for anyone. The convenience of having a fitting cafe right under a workplace, is an extremely lucky thing to have access to. Staff is one of the kindest group of workers i have ever met. Having such young talent is a fortuate thing to have. Staff offered immediate attention for orders, and were extremely quick. Overall, amazing, would highly recommend for anyone needing an instant boost to your day.
Went here recently to give it a try. Usually always very busy and overcrowded. More recommended for takeaway snacks or drinks. Wouldn’t dine in. I liked the fact you could choose your coffee beans. Small cafe but heaps of friendly staff. They usually come out from behind and bring your coffee personally to you even though it’s takeaway. Great coffee too!
Great coffee. Almond milk coffees are great if someone is health conscious. Staff is so nice. Great for takeaway coffees as well.
