Tucked away from the main strip of cafes and bars, this place isnt bad. The food was delicious, service was friendly
Great food and lovely staff..
Highly recommend this place if you enjoy Cafe food. I ordered Oko-nomi-yaki and it was absolutely delicious.
I had the pleasure of visiting Workshop Bros in Southbank the other day and I had an amazing experience.
We decided to go for the Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks, Mr Okonomiyaki, and the Sticky Date Pudding.
The Slow Cooked Beef Cheeks were served on a flakey, buttery toasted croissant, and drizzled with the most delicious sriracha hollandaise. The combination was heavenly! I honestly couldn’t get enough of it.
The Mr Okonomiyaki was recommended to us as it’s one of their specialities, and it didn’t disappoint. I loved the fritters which were crispy and quite light, and the salad that came with it gave it a refreshing touch.
Finally, the Sticky Date Pudding tasted as good as it looked. A work of art on a plate - this dish had the perfect balance of flavours and textures. The banana bread was moist and rich, paired with the freshness of the roasted pears, creamy butterscotch mascarpone, a deep sweetness from the date puree and a nice crunch from the freeze-dried raspberries. We demolished this in minutes - it was so good!
The matcha lattes here are also amazing too - definitely recommend trying one if you’re a fan of matcha.
I would highly recommend visiting Workshop Bros! If you’re in the area, you definitely need to drop by!
Thank you so much for having us.
