Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne. Donโt shy away from this place because of their spice ๐ถ levels.. just order a mild/ medium version and you will realise the flavours are simply amazing and authentic . We order takeaway from here pretty regularly and I can say there is no hit n miss here.. itโs always a hit !! We have tried goat masala, madrassi chicken, butter chicken, chicken Manchurian, veg fried rice n their non veg starters so far...
I have been going to swagath for over a year now and the food has been consistently delicious. It is my go to place for a nice meal and a friendly atmosphere.
This place is what you need when you donโt want to spend too much and get a good taste of South Indian food! Donโt miss the kheema Biryani! A grade stuff!
Best part is Nan with chicken curry. Always welcoming and nice staff. The price is reasonable. Samosa chat/masala are my all time favorite. Small place but good service.

Every dish a winner! Hyderabadi Biryani best, spring roll masala dosai great for sharing. Go the Gobi 65! Only improvement would be slowing down pace of serving food. Great atmosphere with families out dining late. Very authentic! I'll be back
I was seriously doubting this place based on the overall ratings to this point, but each dish was spot on : biryani, goat curry, and some great chindian gobi, and this coming from a regular visitor to India. So if you want to eat some nice authentic Indian then do yourself a favour, I will be back...
Not sure why reviews are down on this place. Couldnโt fault a single dish and we ordered broadly. Dal Makhani is always a good comparison dish and this one was delicious. Forget the rating, try it yourself.
Really good indian food. One of the best Indian restaurants i have been to in Melbourne. Really very affordable. Love the ambience. The staff is very polite and nice. Really very amazing experience. Will surely visit again.

Have been to this place many times.Got different experiences,they try to give you good service however may be due to lack of staff they have to limit to take aways.Definitely you wont get the consistency in the good service but the biryani they make is really really awesome.The biryani is really really god here.Either hate it or love it,you cant ignore this place.However, bad the service these guys provide you can't ignore the 65 biryani here.Really hood biryanis.
One of the best Indian restaurant I have ever been. Good food, good stuff, good interior design of restaurant. Definitely recommend it.
