Great food, coffee and friendly staff
Chia chia is great for a quick, packed work lunch but also friendly for a dining in moment!
Ordered:
🥗 Make your own salad: penne pasta, baked hot sweet potato, kale, broccoli, feta cheese, marinated mushrooms, grilled eggplant, quinoa, smoked salmon with herb aioli sauce and olive oil ($16.50)
Review:
Considering I made it myself... yes this salad was pretty decent 🤣.
Got a good mix of textures (soft potato, crunchy broccoli) and no offensive flavours. A light dish, but still missing a PUNCH of wow factor.
Definitely need to edit the flavour notes a for next time.
But for the filling portion at $16.50, I am very satisfied!
Calling the number also made it easy to book a table during weekday lunch rush. Although the call dialed through a couple of times, I was able to secure my table easily at the end!
This is my go to for coffee during my work week, I’ve missed them during the Easter break! Strong and sweet and creamy, delicious :) they use st Ali beans and the girls at the machine are excellent
Work within close proximity of Chia Chia and I get my food and coffee from here everyday!
Definitely something unique, with fresh produce everyday and proteins that are also fresh if you are looking a substantial meal or on a health kick this is the perfect place and the juices are incredible.
Can get quite busy so get in early, but the busier a place is the better right?
This place is the best boutique salad bar that i have come across to date. They have some fantastic meal options and a great setup for you to walk in and build your own salad masterpeice! They make a great coffee too!!
Chia chia please hurry and open up we are starving here! No better place to get lunch in the Docklands! Missing the smiles and awesome customer service from the girls there too :)
Was very pleasently surprised. This place is great. Selection is great, the build your own salad works a treat. The service is fantastic and ive been back twice. Highly recommend it, you wont be disappointed.
TRUST ME Guys this place is very very very close to my heart!!!!
I knew I am a lucky guy but not as lucky as this time that I have Chia Chia at the ground floor of my office ;-) This cafe is one of my best coffee shops I've visited in Melbourne and I am in love with this place for the right reasons some of which are mentioned below..
1. A very warm and a lovely staff who can make you feel home!
2. One of the best places to fall in love with your coffee
3. Great food for the best price!
4. Awesome location with a nice ambience
5. Best customer service
And this list can go on.. ;-)
Don't miss visiting Chia Chia while you are in Melbourne!
Note: They are closed on Sat and Sunday.
At first, I laughed at how expensive a salad here was ($13) but after receiving my meal, I'm happy to pay that much. Fresh ingredients, you can customise your salad and the portion is HUGE! On top of that, service has always been consistently friendly and welcoming.
Hands down best smashed avo and eggs in Melbourne! Their create your own salad for lunch is a MUST! So many options and a decent serving too which won't leave you hungry. Not to mention the beautiful staff who always greet you with a smile. Favourite breakfast/lunch spot :)
Stef is the best ever. I always enjoy Chia Chia coffees! Warm an nice staffs invite me having my morning coffee there!
Great food and Best coffee in town.. I never miss the coffee everytime come to CDB.
Fantastic place for a salad lover. If too many options confuse you, you might want to avoid this place.. Otherwise this is the place! Do have a look at the "make your own salad" selection page scanned image that I have uploaded.. It will give you an idea on what are the bases to chose from, toppings, dressing etc
First time here in over a year and the food is as delicious as I remember. One of my favourite places for lunch in this part of the Docklands, looking to coming more often over the coming weeks & months.
Salad was good, not enough dressing added. Staff very customer friendly and service is quick. Not many options, good to have it open as most of the restaurants are not yet open in CBD.
Used to work nearby. The staff are very friendly and the interior design of the shop is very neat.I have to say the coffee is quite good and salad taste not bad, suitable for a brunch.
