This is the regular place where I end up while in Melbourne.The service is quick and I find the food they serve better than other outlets of this chain.A fan of their phish burger and not to forget the onion rings.
I just love lord of the fries!! My favourite is the Belgium mayo or the French Canadian “ cheese “ and gravy ! I wish they had an option of real cheese instead of vegan cheese but after a night out it still does the job

Never have I had wedge cut chips that had a thick skin yet was soft inside. The seasoning added flavour to the chips as well as the oil the chips were fried in made the chips so much tastier. A small stall but staff are friendly.

Burger was soooooooooo good fries were below average. We had chilli fries.... Was kinda gross. Chips need to be better if its called 'lord of the fries'
There is a Lord of the Fries and that is at Southern Cross on the DFO side of the station. RNIS did not pay for the chips as they got a complimentary voucher, but we paid for all other things.They are a takeaway store outside of DFO. Here you order and then they call your name when your order is ready.
LOTF is a vegetarian/vegan establishment- not part of my regular reviews. I thought it only fair to do a review because I've been eating here since Mark and Sam parked their first little truck off Alma Rd in 2003. Great quality. Tasty - they do a good job in flavour and texture. A bit on the expensive side but I recommend to come here at least once a month as its a great alternative to meat. The sweet potato fries are fantastic!!!
Greasssssseeee glorioussss friesssssssss I am not one to watch my expanding waistline but nothing shouts out I love you more than their french fries. I could eat you for eternity and a day. Perfect for when you are PMS-ing or just feel like a fat day. Its fries and burgers ppl... Not arty farty burgers like most cafes have now with quinoa and chia seeds.. I am talking burgersy ou know like cheese pickles and shit?

Brilliant whilst drunk, but otherwise a rare guilty pleasure. The French Canadian fries are the perfect cure to a cold day and I'm yet to find a better vegetarian hotdog in Melbourne. The quality of the fries can be pretty hit-and-miss, with this store usually not being quite as good as the Swanston our Melbourne Central outlets, but still one of the most enjoyable (albeit incredibly unhealthy) vegetarian fast food options around.
I eat at Lord of the Fries at least once every time I visit Melbourne. There aren't many places where you can get freshly cooked vegetarian and vegan fast food! Yum!
HSP and service here were 1000x better than the garbage served by the Elisabeth Street store.
Also got to see a Karen complaining that a spicy burger was spicy and that the meat wasn't real. Peak comedy 💯 💯
I only had the chips and a coke. Chips were great shoestrings. Service was quick and friendly. Coke choice was the one in the little bottle as I love the size. Chips were fresh and delicious. Haven’t tried other options such as burgers and chicken. One day. Close to the train station if you want a take away quick before you jump on the train. Recommend.
