3.5. The new cookies and cream hot chocolate was really nice. Very creamy and can taste cookie crumbs in it. Towards the end, the chocolate was quite sweet though. Would try the cookies and cream latte next time!

Ordered the 10-piece Spicy Chicken McNuggets tonight for a quick bite with a friend. It was only $3 - a special promotion activated through the new app available on Android and iPhone. The Nuggets were crunchy and hot and I definitely preferred them over the regular nuggets. They also went well with the new Buffalo sauce. Great value and good customer service.

Went out for lunch at macca's back when the monopoly competition was still on and won me a big mac and fries so was pretty happy then. Today I came in and had an Angus Homestyle burger, tasted really good. Love the macca's fries too.
Me and my work colleagues come in here quite regularly for morning coffee, breakfast or lunch.
Sometimes it's good, with quick service and hot food and other it's just poor.
Today for example around 9-9.30am we went in to grab breakfast and coffee. It took ages to even get served, once served the coffees took way too long to be made and the muffins were horribly constructed, inside fillings falling out and the cheese was all wonky.
The place wasn't busy at all so backlog of orders is no excuse. I think we'll start using some of the more locally owned places around the area.

WARNING Hot Take Alert: "This is the best McDonalds in the CBD." Come here if you want the McDonalds regulars, I've had the usual Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, Cheeseburgers 1-3x here and they've all been perfect. No point repeating about what I've said before about how much I like all types of this burgers, I'm going to instead dedicate the remainder of this review to the Create Your Taste custom burger service which I have ordered here once, but at all McDonalds locations about 10 times.
Here at the Create Your Taste Kiosk, you will be treated with a bright OLED touchscreen where you will use to navigate your burger. You can also order any regular meal from these kiosks, which is great if you are shy or feel embarssed to talk a person through your order. Usually here I have a double cheeseburger meal and I add +++pickles, ++onion, dark toasted bun, quarter pounder bun. Anyway, on to the creative part.
Press "Make My Burger" to initiate the creation process. First, you will get to choose your protein, be it beef, grilled chicken, fried chicken or fish. I have had beef and fried chicken and both are adequate. We all know the beauty of McDonalds is in condiments, bread and vibe not quality of meat. However, all other ingredients featured on this munu are of great quality. When I build my burger... Hell, I'll just walk you through it:

The one complaint I would have is that using the Create Your Taste only gives access to more "deli" type ingredients (dill pickles for example) and does not provide access to reguar McDonalds gherkin. Still.. Come here if you want a good Mcdonalds with clean public toilets and good food.
This is one of the preferred Maccas options in the city. Is often less busy than others and as a result, getting a seat is often simple.
Friendly staff and on temp food makes for a happy customer. But I will say that the chicken nuggets here are often crap. Taste like they were made sometime last year and they're still trying to sell them. Yuk.
CYT is often slow to receive, although the length of time is acknowledged by staff and this is appreciated. In saying that, it is also one of the best CYT offerings out there, so I'm happy to wait a little longer for quality.
Store (like all maccas now) could do with more regular cleaning, but overall better than most outlets.
One of the better (and cleaner) Maccas in the CBD. Avoid Swanston street and come to this one. Better service (not chaotic) and less waiting. You know what to expect from Maccas. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Top and Bottom. Thats the way I roll with sundaes! Friendly accommodating staff, clean & no lines!
24hr Macca's in the CBD, and it draws in the exact types you would expect.
All I can say really is don't forget to bring a towel, and keep the cop shop on speed dial.
