Located strategically along the upmarket shopping district at armadale, shake is a convenient solution for those who just finished exercise class or don’t feel like having a heavy meal for brunch. My peanut butter choc protein shake was jam packed with peanut butter and flavour. At $7, portions were quite good and I left feeling quite stuffed. Shop itself was a bit basic so it’s more of a takeaway and go kinda place

My favorite was the Shakez Special—the heavenly blend of unsweetened acai 🍇, banana 🍌, and whey protein, topped with oats, muesli, almond, PB 🥜, bananas, and strawberry 🍓.
The gainz train is coming! Shakez is the go to place after a good workout to get all the nutrients and protein back into your system! Their shakes are packed with all the good stuff and taste really good! Acai bowls are also top notch! Give this place a try for your health fix cuz the minion sure recommends it!
One of the most underrated acai bowls in Melbourne! Really great flavour and consistency and there are lots of toppings on the menu to choose from. Will be back next time to try some of the shakes!
Best place to get your after gym fix. They have heaps of protein options including quality whey and Vegan protein options like rice, pea and soy. The Acai bowls are my also incredible and really reasonably priced compared to the rest of Melbourne!
My go to after gym or for that morning where you need to get something to eat/drink on the run. Vegan and Gluten-free options available, including a range of protein and whey powders. Staff are awesome too!
Came for an acai bowl and was greeted by the lovely staff which were very knowledgeable. A great feed and a venue that easily become a regular smoothie spot.
Grabbed a peanut butter and banana bowl, was yum! Would like to see some non-plastic options here if you decide to eat in (just ceramic bowls or glasses) or more environmental packaging
A suprise find of a protein food drink. Probably first I even heard in Australia. The protein food drink is very filling and well priced. The cool press juice is a good compliment after the protein drink. I'll come back for more. 😄😄

First time having an acai bowl, interesting! Friendly service, good for post-gym snacks. Bowls are $10+ for a price reference.

we tried the two most popular açai bowls - the Shakez Spencial ($13) and the Superfood Loaded ($14). I recommend for you to mix everything together (after taking a visually beautiful photo of course) before tucking in.
What I love about Shakez?
👍🏻 Each açai bowl contains Whey protein, which is something not all smoothie places include. Saves you the effort of making a protein shake after your workout
👍🏻 the core of the bowl is an unsweetened açai base, but it still tastes delicious because of the banana.
👍🏻The peanut butter’s nutty texture really went well with the fruits. You must always always have açai bowl with a dollop of peanut butter - it makes all the difference!
👍🏻 It took me a while to get used to the buckini and oats in my açai bowl, but I suspect they are the reasons why I didn’t get hungry for the rest of the day.
So excited to try their other smoothies too, especially when Melbourne summer finally arrives. Thanks for the invite! ♥️
Shakez is my daily go to for smoothies, protein shakes and fresh juices. I live locally and rate this as the best juice bar in the area. Nat and Ash will happily spend an hour talking to you about the benefits of celery juice and whey protein. The service is always top notch. There's no better time to get around good people and support local business.
