Like I mean, this place has fabulous roast meat, which is cooked to perfection with your choice of veggies on the side. The only downfall is their high price.
I like this place . You get a plate with lots of vegetables and a good serving of meat . Perhaps they could be a bit quicker bringing it to the table but otherwise it’s a good experience. Well worth the visit .
Looking for a place to eat on Tuesday night my wife and I walked past this place and decided to go in for dinner. There were only a few other people in there, and the guys behind the counter were packing a large UberEats order. It was several minutes before we were served. The staff were very friendly. We both had a lamb shank, and they piled the plate high with roast vegetables. Although the flavour wasn't anything outstanding the meat was really tasty, and the vegetables were well cooked also. It was a cold night, and a roast dinner really hit the spot!
Roast Kitchen has been very consistent over the years, offering a home cooked roast for people who simply can't whip up one of their own. Excellent for singles and seniors.
Grabbed a family pack from here after the oven died halfway through cooking the pork. :( For $60 it seems overpriced, but we had plenty of food for 5 adults (suggested serving is 3 adults). You get a decent amount of roast (we love the pork + crackling), a huge foil tin of vegies, gravy and sauce. Overall it was a very satisfying dinner and when you think about it, good value as a main per person at any other restaurant goes for about $20 each anyway.
Been here numerous times for take away family pack roast. Great selection of fresh roasted veggies and tasty meat options. Such a good healthy take away option
Found this place online one day after craving a roast dinner, what a cute place, felt like we were on a vacation in some small town in Europe, staff were super sweet, the food was great! I dont know what some of these reviews are talking about.
The meat was very juicy, even the chicken breast! The gravy smelt sooo good and the serving was huge. Loved it :)
Homestyle cooking without having to clean up. Large serves, friendly staff and I will be back. I grabbed take-away but next time I would love to eat in.
Walked past this place and decided to give it a try. Ordered the roast beef and will not be looking back! So juicy, tasty and so much of it too! Veggies and mashed potato were also so comforting flavoursome. Not sure why it says closed on Sundays as it seems like a pretty busy day for them. Highly recommend the Roasted Capsicum Relish as a side sauce. Complements the meal perfectly.
This is a cosy little café with the ambience of a staff canteen but the food of a hunting lodge. Hearty roast beef, lamb, pork and veggies with freedom to choose what goes on the plate and what does not. I used to get this take away when I lived in the area but now drop in occasionally when the greasier and cheesier options elsewhere seem more than I can bare! Meal sizes are enough to satisfy my needs without feeling 'stuffed'. The dessert range is limited but equally 'hearty'... crumble or sticky date - yum.
I was addicted to this place when I lived in Kew, and I still call in whenever I am in the area. A fantastic, healthy and hearty alternative to takeaways.
