This is a beautifully maintained historical building. My wife and I went for brunch, the historical was great and warm with families and couples, lots of noise of laughter and chatter. The service was friendly, with us greeted with a smile. This Cafe is also a dog friendly one, with outside seating for the doggies and their owners. I had the breakfast plate, it was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked .
If you are around North Melbourne, it is a place that is worth a visit.
Local institution - great place for a coffee, breakfast or brunch.
Auction rooms has to be one of the best local spots for breakfast. The service is great and staff friendly. I can’t remember ever eating anything here that wasn’t great.
If the suns out, enjoy a coffee out the front. If the weather in less tolerable, there’s plenty of room inside.
Always busy and full tables but worth it to wait for brunch and coffee. I had a baked egg, and veggies with garlic toast and it was a good combination of tastes. Also, cute coffee art makes it better :)
A lovely experience though they only do takeaway due to covid. I love their decor and the building. The coffee is great and the staff are friendly.

📝: I’ve passed this brunch place the first time a few years ago, but they’re always so busy and with all tables full! Lucky I managed to get a table with my friend this time.
❤️: I got the Falafel with carrot jam, farro tabbouleh, beetroot puree, and poached egg. So delicious and hearty, the perfect bowl. And since I’m a sweettooth, I also got the Cinnamon Scroll. I think it would taste even more amazing warmed up!
