Amazingly tender and delicious beef rendang, served in a very covid-responsible takeaway. Highly recommended.

Took me a while to realise that this cafe was inside a building! Uncle David is a family run cafe which sells a combination of coffee, pastries and Malaysian rice / noodle dishes. They are also available on @ritualapp in case you want to rack up some points.

While sitting at the counter front, I observed that many people ordered the crispy satay chicken burger. They also sell Sarawak laksa (!!!).

The kolo mee ($12) was huge and satisfying enough for an office lunch. Sure, the noodles were not similar to the one I had in Kuching but it was springy and absorbed a lot of the sauce. What I loved about it though was surprisingly the char siu and fish cakes. It honestly didn’t look really appetising but it was really tender and tasted great. All this dish needs now is some pork oil!

I’d say this is a good lunch option for those working in the area ❤️ excited to come back for the laksa

A cute little cafe within the office building serving good coffee. It is run by family where everyone contributes in some way.
They also give a little brownie or cake bite with the coffee. The pastries here are good as well.
They also offer lunch but have not tried that yet, but will in future
