β€οΈ: Triple B Burger, best-selling with beef patty, smoked beef brisket, crispy bacon, crispy fried onions, iceberg lettuce, BBQ sauce, smoked aioli, and tasty Barryβs burger sauce on toasted milk bun. So thic!!
Also that Fatbarry Nachos with pulled pork, corn chips, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, and crispy bacon was yum, but the chips were really soggy (pulled pork had so much water and liquid), and the cheese got stuck to paper that when you pull it out, the paper (and color from the paper) got stuck to it that it was inedible.

We had such a wonderful experience here and mainly cos of the food and the warming welcome we received. The location for me is a little hard to get to but if Iβm in the area Iβd definitely come back!
Highlights: the Tripple B burger was my fav and is on my top list of burgers, mainly cos I loved the smokey beef ribs and flavours of it. My partner and friend really enjoyed everything we had, the Drew Barrymore was delicious.
Overall a good burger joint and value for money!
Went for dinner here one night. The location is a bit hidden away but it was totally worth the trip.

- Crispy chicken fillet w large salad and side of fries
The burger was one of the nicest burger Iβve had and that chicken fillet was sure crispy, nice and tender. I was surprised how it can remained the crispness for so long since we didnβt have it until the very last. They have some good jam going on too so itβs a great place to be!
What a great location β close enough to the city that it is easily accessible by public transport but just enough out of the way that you can enjoy a quieter feed than the busy-ness of the city.
This place had a great selection of drinks β both non alcoholic and alcoholic, and we had to order kombuchas because they had such a great variety of flavours like passionfruit, ginger and raspberry!
We started our feast with the Fatbarry nachos β which were SO YUM!! WE got the Triple B burger (AMAZING and very easy to see why itβs a crowd favourite!), the Mexican cartel burger, and the beef brisket sandwich! All of the burgers/sandwiches were so delicious, perfectly cooked and I could seriously eat these forever.
WE enjoyed a sneaky game of foosball in the courtyard after we finished eating, itβs a great spot to have a chilled sessions with your friends over a burger and drink. Will be back!!
Iβve eaten off their food truck plenty of times and loved it but heading into the restaurant took it up a level. I can only imagine the hours that go into producing all those smoked meats. Great stuff π
Smokin Barry's was located in South Melbourne, very easy to get to from Melbourne CBD. Quick tram ride and the tram stop was less than 100 metres away.
We started the night with the Fatbarry Nachos, the Triple "B" burger with extra American cheddar cheese and the Crispy Chicken Fillet with a large salad and side of chips.
The winner for me was definitely THAT burger! It had beef patty and beef brisket. Accompanied by fried onions and crispy bacon. Don't get me started on the cheese, it was beautiful. Thankyou to the lovely staff who recommended thus burger to us - definitely employee of the month worthy!
We also tried the Emma & Tom's RASPBERRY Kombucha and the Chinotto Traditional Italian drink. Both very interesting!! It was nice to try something different.
Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!!!

Canβt get over the smell of this place! It really draws you in! This hidden gem in South Melbourne was a fantastic find, itβs easy to find and has a great outdoor area that we sat in on a lovely day! There is different options for your tastes, and we enjoyed a nice option without a burger bun and also the Mexican burger (freaking amazing)! Highly recommend visiting this place!

Newly opened, a permanent home for the much loved food truck Smokin Barryβs. Located a bit off the beaten track in an industrial area of South Melbourne, the meats being produced here are bang on, as good as the truck.
In additional to their brisket and meats, this location is also doing sandwiches and burgers. I had to go with a traditional brisket roll which I love from their trucks, and this was no exception. I also had the cornflake crumbed chicken burger. LOVED IT!!! Their triple B burger (Beef, brisket, bacon) is what theyβre slowly making a name for themselves for, but for me, I love a simple burger. Didnβt have enough room to try any chips, but Iβll definitely be back.
These people know good food! Soon to start opening Friday nights for drinks!

For starters you know when a place is good when the chips come out hot and they stay hot for a long time afterwards. No pre cooked chips yay!
The Papa Italian Deli sandwiches are the only ones like this in Melbourne apparently and they were perfect! Think Italian salamis, fresh salads, rolls etc and your onto a winner!
The beef brisket rolls were delicious w soft beef that was slow cooked and it just fell apart. Absolutely amazing and a must try.
Now the burgers were bigger than anything Iβve witnessed before. The chicken burger was great but the beef burgers.... well look at the photos hahaha
I had a beef burger w bacon and cheese and other goodies packed inside a great bun. Woo hoo

Smokin Barry's should definitely be your the next Burger stop. The down-to-earth staff, the quality food, the lovely venue, are all just elements of their greatness!
Food:
Chicken Burgers are my go-to burgers, and Smokin Barry's definitely hit the spot. The chicken was fried to perfection, crispy, crunchy and juicy yet not too oily or dry. Packed with flavour, paired with some slaw and a few pickles, this fried chicken burger is definitely worth trying. Even better is their house favourite, iconic meat burger. Cannot exactly remember the name, but if you ask the staff, for the true Smokin Barry's burger, one with bacon, beef, patty, 3 meats if I remember correctly, they'll know. This is one enormous burger. And it is the definition of meaty and flavoursome. If you finish it, I commend you, and trust me, you will want to, because it is value for money and absolutely scrumptious.
Ambience:
As it's located in a more quieter area in South Melbourne, and only recently opened this eatery stemming out from their food truck, they are not yet very well-known. With a cozy indoors area and outdoor setting with plenty of greenery to surround, the eatery is quite an accommodating venue. With a bit more customers, I can imagine how lively it could get.
Service:
As soon as you enter you are greeted with great cheesy smiles from all the staff. The main chefs, the waiters, Laz, the manager, all constantly checked up on us. They were so friendly and easy-going, and very keen for feedback and improvements, always looking to provide better for their customers.
Smokin Barry's has everything you want in a burger establishment.Β The staff are so friendly and helpful, the menu is great, the burgers and fries are totally scrumptious and the outdoor seating relaxing and wonderful.
My friend and I ate here recently and I ordered the classic cheeseburger and my friend ordered the crispy chicken burger.Β Our burgers were delicious with good ingredients and spot on patties and buns.Β The seasoning on the fries was yummy, highly recommend.Β
