β€οΈ: Triple B Burger, best-selling with beef patty, smoked beef brisket, crispy bacon, crispy fried onions, iceberg lettuce, BBQ sauce, smoked aioli, and tasty Barryβs burger sauce on toasted milk bun. So thic!!
Also that Fatbarry Nachos with pulled pork, corn chips, guacamole, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, and crispy bacon was yum, but the chips were really soggy (pulled pork had so much water and liquid), and the cheese got stuck to paper that when you pull it out, the paper (and color from the paper) got stuck to it that it was inedible.

We had such a wonderful experience here and mainly cos of the food and the warming welcome we received. The location for me is a little hard to get to but if Iβm in the area Iβd definitely come back!
Highlights: the Tripple B burger was my fav and is on my top list of burgers, mainly cos I loved the smokey beef ribs and flavours of it. My partner and friend really enjoyed everything we had, the Drew Barrymore was delicious.
Overall a good burger joint and value for money!
Went for dinner here one night. The location is a bit hidden away but it was totally worth the trip.
We got:
- Triple B burger
- Fatbarry nachos
- Crispy chicken fillet w large salad and side of fries
The burger was one of the nicest burger Iβve had and that chicken fillet was sure crispy, nice and tender. I was surprised how it can remained the crispness for so long since we didnβt have it until the very last. They have some good jam going on too so itβs a great place to be!
What a great location β close enough to the city that it is easily accessible by public transport but just enough out of the way that you can enjoy a quieter feed than the busy-ness of the city.
This place had a great selection of drinks β both non alcoholic and alcoholic, and we had to order kombuchas because they had such a great variety of flavours like passionfruit, ginger and raspberry!
We started our feast with the Fatbarry nachos β which were SO YUM!! WE got the Triple B burger (AMAZING and very easy to see why itβs a crowd favourite!), the Mexican cartel burger, and the beef brisket sandwich! All of the burgers/sandwiches were so delicious, perfectly cooked and I could seriously eat these forever.
WE enjoyed a sneaky game of foosball in the courtyard after we finished eating, itβs a great spot to have a chilled sessions with your friends over a burger and drink. Will be back!!
Iβve eaten off their food truck plenty of times and loved it but heading into the restaurant took it up a level. I can only imagine the hours that go into producing all those smoked meats. Great stuff π
Smokin Barry's was located in South Melbourne, very easy to get to from Melbourne CBD. Quick tram ride and the tram stop was less than 100 metres away.
We started the night with the Fatbarry Nachos, the Triple "B" burger with extra American cheddar cheese and the Crispy Chicken Fillet with a large salad and side of chips.
The winner for me was definitely THAT burger! It had beef patty and beef brisket. Accompanied by fried onions and crispy bacon. Don't get me started on the cheese, it was beautiful. Thankyou to the lovely staff who recommended thus burger to us - definitely employee of the month worthy!
We also tried the Emma & Tom's RASPBERRY Kombucha and the Chinotto Traditional Italian drink. Both very interesting!! It was nice to try something different.
Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!!!

So happy that i got down to these guys when i did! π What a great spot! ππ½ Decked out Victorian House thats an absolute gem of a space! π Terrific outdoor eating area with unique personality and a great vibe! π friendly staff and Izzy, one of the happiest chefs out! ππ½ you can tell he loves what he does, so he just puts you in a good mood π i really struggled choosing what to eat from their menu, everything looked ridiculous βπ½ From BBQ sandwiches, to BBQ topped nachos and Burgers! π² so when push came to shove, i went with their special π lets get down to business π

What a damn GOOD BURGER! π this bad boy has flavour packed into it that you dont even expect!π₯ the first thing that caught my attention was the smokey BBQ flavour that makes its presence known through the meat from the first bite! π the combination with the BBQ sauce, Barrys Burger Sauce and the Smoked Aioli work hand in hand to deliver a Phenomenal BBQ flavoured Burger! βπ½π₯ then to top it off, the hero ingredient and my favourite addition, the CRISPY FRIED ONION! π€€ texture, texture, texture! Canβt get over the smell of this place! It really draws you in! This hidden gem in South Melbourne was a fantastic find, itβs easy to find and has a great outdoor area that we sat in on a lovely day! There is different options for your tastes, and we enjoyed a nice option without a burger bun and also the Mexican burger (freaking amazing)! Highly recommend visiting this place!

All the ingredients tasted very fresh, and its definitely value for money.Β
