Best hotdogs with the lot that we have ever eaten, amazing coffee, friendly service and a lovely relaxing place to sit and enjoy a meal whilst taking in the beautiful views of Mount Remarkable.

Stopped for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with nice coffee and soft poached eggs. The ham and cheese croissant was nicely toasted. The garden was shady and relaxed. Staff were friendly too. My only wish was that they had muffins or banana bread but given it was a quiet mid week visit can't expect them to stock everything.

Lovely staff. Fuel pricing reasonable. Groceries were reasonably priced and a good assortment of products including good fruit.

We drove from Riverton to Melrose but nothing was open until Store 54 Cafe, Melrose which remarkably was open. “Remarkably” because experience has dictated that SA is never keen to be open to serve tourists on Sundays, public holidays or any day after 1:30pm ... 1) “Your sign (or Google) says that you are open until 2:00” “Yes but kitchen closes at 1:30 ‘cause they have to clean up!” 2) “Your sign (or Google) says that you are open until 2:00” “Sorry, it’s a minute past two!” Store 54 Cafe was not only open on Boxing Day/Sunday but they served healthy meals accompanied by exceptional hospitality.

The food was AMAZING! The prices were about the same as an OTR but things were fresher and the staff were smiling. I'd recommend the food. The food was just... food. GOOD food
