I've known these boys (Terry, Arthur, & Steve) since back in the day, when they ran the bestest fush n chups shop in ye olde Aspendale town. And now they run the bestest chicken bar in ye olde Mentone town. ^_^ Good food at good prices = go check 'em out. I particularly enjoy their salads range, & I drop by most days to get my green fix.
The original Greek souva is absolutely on point.never disappoints 👌
Great meal had. Best souva meat this side of town. Tender, Marinated and cooked to perfection. Fresh salad and crispy chips. Will definitely go back for more! :)
Me and my boyfriend went over after the beach a couple of days ago, we saw a lot of people in and thought it would take a long time to order and finally eat, but the service was of excellent quality, the people working there were super polite, and very fast considering the amount of crowd they had to handle. I ordered a souvlaki and my boyfriend got their chicken, all were amazing, including the Greek salad and the chips. Everything was cooked to perfection and was as fresh as it could be. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food we got. Will definitely be back again soon.
Best Greek food in the Mentone area. Very satisfied, I want that gyros in my mouth! , and the pasta salad is amazing such great food at such great prices please never change!
Cluck bar have the absolute best souvs!! Better than oakleigh!! The "athenian" souv is my absolute favourite! Staff all very friendly and great service!

Their kebabs are fantastic. I think the price was about $10.90, which is a little more than average, but the meat is delicious and they're a good size - absolutely packed with fillings! I've been there a few times and I'm very happy with their serving sizes! I haven't tried their chips before, but I've been told that the chips & gravy are fantastic. They're always super busy, which is a testament to their quality.
Overall our souvas were good. Service was quick. The meat platter looked good, however my wife said that the meat was a bit tough and stringy. The chicken looked good and may try this next time.

I was going to a lot of kebab joints for a period last month and kept noticing that they all have that weird pseudo meat thing rolling around on that vertical spit. I know it can sometimes taste all right but really, what the heck is in that. I then went to cluck bar and noticed a horizontal spit with what looked like actual real lamb meat. Got one of the "original greek" kebabs and now I'm set. That is the official kebab standard from now on. They chuck in a handful of chips into the middle of the kebab as well which rounds out the whole kebab to make it a more filling meal. There's also a bit of mustard which they use to bring another flavour experience to the table. Their tabouli and their Greek salad accompanied it well and made me feel like I was being some what healthy when I ate there. But when it comes down to it there is nothing like a great kebab or should I say souvlaki? More so there's nothing out there like a cluck bar "original Greek". Since that first stop I've been there nearly every week. I also noticed that they sell fried chicken. Gettin that. Thanks cluck.
Always get my lamb souvs here. They do a great job. No need to go to Oakleigh as they're just as good; if not better. Highly recommend. Chips are spot on too!
