Review Duci's Italian Restaurant - Merimbula

Great food, soup and Pizza! Loved the Sole fish and the Soup was just delicious, the Pizza is a soft crunchy base with wonderful toppings. Loved being there and being catered by the friendly staff. They do take away too.

Had an early reservation for 6pm as we were dining with a 3 year old. This has been the most disappointing restaurant experience I have ever had. We waited for over an hour for our order in a cold restaurant with a hungry child before making a query as to when our meals would arrive. Told it was just being plated up and waited another 20 minutes before it arrived with a curt apology for the wait. The food was poor quality- risotto too salty, a pizza that had minimal topping and ravioli that was tasteless to name a few. We could not finish our meals. Constructive criticism was poorly received when paying the bill. Will never return, which is a shame as we had been long term customers who like to support local business.

Right in the main street of Merimbula is Duci’s Italian Restaurant offering a good range of pizza, pasta and so much more, the food is cooked to perfection with a great taste and the staff are very friendly and provided great service. Prices are very affordable and the restaurant is well decorated and very clean. Recommend for anyone who wants a great meal experience.

Had dinner with the family here last night and it was such a disappointment. It took well over an hour from ordering to get our meals. No warning that meals were talking a long time and no apologies. Other tables around us kept asking what had happened to their meals and they had ordered after us. We were informed key ingredients to one of our dishes was no longer available just before serving up so no time to change the order. All the food was tasteless and the food with changed ingredients was horrible. Pasta ordered was just gluggy. No discount offered for such big stuff ups in a restaurant, which makes me think this is normal for them.

The seafood special was amazing such a tasty meal and the seafood pasta was delicious thoroughly recommend as the staff were as lovely as the food!

Waited 10min to get a menu, 10min for the lady to go get her notebook and then another 5min to get a drink menu. Glad I only came here for dessert, their pasta looked too saucy, our dessert was so bad that we couldn’t even finish it. I feel bad for people eating here, but I don’t think they know better. There’s so much sauce on the pasta plates that people don’t even finish it. Very sad to see an “Italian” restaurant serve like it’s McDonald’s.

Had a great vegetarian pizza. Staff were very friendly and service was fast. Definitely recommend

Great pizza and pasta and other meals. BYO wine, fully licenced, lunchtime specials from $10. Generous sized entrees big enough for main course. Friendly staff, good service. Try the San Georgio pizza.

Unfortunately very underwhelmed with the pizza and pasta. Underdeveloped flavours and over-sauced food made for a somewhat disappointing experience. The restaurant was three quarters full, However the food took 45 minutes to arrive. Friendly wait staff but unfortunately a miss!

I would look at it more of a cafe than restaurant. The wine list is overpriced and pretentious, for $7.00 a bottle corkage it's still better value than buying a bottle of wine off the wine list!! I Had the carbonara which was Bland, no onions and with el cheapo ham. Ok but wouldn't be going back any time soon. Hubby had the pesto pasta, again very bland. I will say the serves were very generous for the price. Service was excellent.

Disappointing quality of pastas and over cooked Parma. I had the hot tropical pizza and it was good. The Pesto pasta was good but the chicken appeared to be bought from the supermarket. The amatriciana was pretty bland like tinned tomatoes with chilli.

Great food. Pizzas are amazing and the chicken Parma was one of the best we've ever had. Great value for money as most places around here are very over priced

Soooo good!! So accommodating! And great quick service! By far the best Pizza in Merimbula!! 100% coming here again!!
