Amazing service, great atmosphere, delicious food.
This restaurant is located in a cosy standalone building and there are limited seats so make sure to make a reservation! It is quite dim inside so some may have trouble reading the menus.
The steaks are tender and cooked perfectly although sauces aren't included in the price.
Sides we tried include the dirty fries, brussels sprouts and carrots, and we went mad over tje fries!
The wine menu is solid too. Can't wait to come back.
It was mums 60th and a big group of 35+ flew up from Melbourne to celebrate. We had a set menu and drinks package and it was AMAZING!! With a big group I’m generally a bit more lenient on the quality of food because it’s hard but every item of food was mouthwatering. There was 3 choices for each course and they were all delicious. Personally I had the aranchini balls (4per serve) and the meatballs for main. The boys are all still talking about their steak and pork belly a week later!
The staff went above and beyond all night to ensure we had everything we needed and more. There wasn’t 1 thing we would change!
A massive thank you to The Glenelg Public House, you made mums bday one to remember. We will definitely be back!
Like the restaurant and the vibe inside, it’s a bit dark and little loud but It was tolerable and not annoying

Found this gem by accident! Great beer on tap and good selection! Steaks were great, well done. Awesome mashed potatoes. Great staff and atmosphere, will definitely come again !
Staff are great and easy to approach, awesome knowledge and love of the menu. They were happy to recommend an unusual cut for a meat lover and an aged cut cooked medium for my partner who usually has well done. Both steaks were unbelievable.
Fantastic selection of beers a well traveled Australian has not yet experienced, recommend the double red ale and the milk stout.
Also It had one of the best tasting kids meals, my poor son had to share his gnocchi

Amazing service, 2 of our steaks were SPOT ON and the burger was the best my sister had ever had. Great serving sizes, fresh and so much taste. The restaurant is also beautiful rustic design.

Went here for dinner last night with my partner and the restaurant is really cute. Has a large outdoor area and inside can seat quite a few people.
The service was excellent! Greeted at the door and even though we didn't have a booking were taken straight to a table. They were really helpful as well explaining the menu and how it worked.
The food was TO DIE FOR! Seriously if the only meal you eat while in Gold Coast is from this restaurant you will not be disappointed! We shared the pork belly entree, I got the eye fillet and my partner had the rib fillet. Both cooked perfectly! Couldn't fault the sides either, we chose the broccolini and spinach and the fries.
Whenever we come back to the Gold Coast we will definitely be visiting again!
Don't be fooled by the highway location, or the fact the name of the restaurant is a palindrome! Glenelg is a serious contender on the Coast - brilliant fit out, fantastic menu, even better quality food & great personality amongst the crew!
We ventured out on a Monday night where most places are closed or very empty, yet this place was full of vibrancy! Three of us ordered steaks (rare medium highly recommended!) that were beautifully cooked, although order a few sides if you're hungry as the 200/225g steaks can be on the smaller side.
The fourth ordered a creamy mushroom Gnocchi which was extremely tasty & a fair portion. Honey glazed pumpkin and the potato rosti that came with the steaks were phenomenal! Not cheap, but so many highlights & great banter with the staff = definitely heading back!!
Great food! We were a little trepidatious given the location on busy highway and small carpark complex of shops but ambience indoor was super cool. Service was very friendly and personable while also being efficient and knowledgeable. Food was great - we had truffle gnocchi, one of the 500g steaks, the arancini balls and the pork and scallop starter. Everything was spot on and the mains were a solid size. Overall - would recommend!
If love a good steak, this is the place to spoil your taste buds. Top notch service, everything about this place lived up to the hype of being one of the top rated steak restaurants all of the Gold Coast. Absolutely the best meal we enjoyed in a long time, in fact: ABSOLUTELY the best steak I have ever had!
