Two reviews (restaurant & wedding): Restaurant: Firstly, we have been to the restaurant numerous times and would always recommend dining here. It is a suitable venue for a quick bite with drinks or a sit down meal. The food is always fresh and service is awesome. Wedding: We had our wedding at the Botanical gardens over in Buronga with the reception being at the Magenta Wool shed (also at the Gardens) the catering and then entire function part of the gardens is ran by Dag and Michelle. Michelle was great with all our requests/ questions and really was so easy to work with in the lead up to our wedding. On the night of our wedding everything was under control and ran so smoothly. One thing I particularly liked is Michelle worked with our MC and maid of honor for any of her initial questions so we weren't even aware if anything was needed! They just handled everything. The food and Dag's support before and on the night was amazing too. Using local products and even produce grown in the garden is a nod to how much of a fantastic food bowl we have here in Mildura and I loved that Dag is so keen to show case what we have here. All our guests loved the food and Dag had some great tips for seating and also what food to serve. No one went hungry and all the dishes were of restaurant quality even though they were catering for 80 people. Food allergies or preference were not problem and we also requested kids meals which were no problem either. I highly recommend both the restaurant and the Gardens. If you are a local and haven't tried their food you should and if you are visiting put it on your list as Dag is an amazing chef and uses a lot of our great produce!
