My favourite Indian restaurant. I have been coming here for years. I have tried many dishes at Ajantha, and all are the best tasting I have experienced. The staff are very lovely. Would highly recommend!
Family owned and run. We have been eating here for more than 12 years. The first place I ate at while feeding my baby as a brand new mum. Not an eyelid batted. Such a welcoming cosy environment. Not flash but clean and warm.

I ordered take away from here a couple of years ago and it was very average, but I noticed that they are still very popular and have lots of good reviews so I gave them another go recently.
I don't get the popularity; They're incredibly slow, they actually seemed surprised/annoyed that I turned up
Good food but take long time
I was in search for a decent place where I can have some different taste than most Indian restaurants in Melbourne. I ordered couple of things and it went out superb. Specially their curries have delicious taste. 5 starts from me.
Very mediocre food and insufficient quantity. Ok service. Not worth the money or the time. Much better restaurants around the area.
