Excellent food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Definitely recommend booking ahead for weekend dining as this historic pub is a popular destination and we were lucky to get a table.
Both the regular and gluten-free Stump Burgers were amazing, the chicken schnitzel was beautiful and everyone loved the chips.

Fantastic meals here, excellent service too. Glad it wasn't too crazy busy although there was a large birthday group in the next room. The mains were all top class meals and our only minor suggestion is that the desserts could do with a bit of a tweak. All of ours were just average.
Loved the decor and the care taken with the look and feel of the interior.

Excellent food and service. Family friendly place, with paper for toddler to doodle while waiting for food. Loved the risotto and chicken roulade! The apple crumble was also amazing (loved the coconut flakes on top). Would recommend to anyone passing by the Clare region, however do need to note that it's not in the typical Clare valley region
