On Friday 5/12 we had an Xmas Party for 14 at the Hotel. The Food was absolutely fantastic! We had ordered From the Sea and Farm and platter after platter appeared and all were exceptional. Crispy Pork, Lamb, Mussels, Trout too much to detail here. The two Hostesses were amazing and kept our glasses filled and the table cleared. Everyone agreed it was the best Xmas Party we'd had over the past 4 years at different venues. Would highly recommend to everyone in the Shire. Thank you Miranda Hotel.
We arranged to meet some friends at the Miranda Hotel on Sunday afternoon for a long overdue catch up. On arrival we sat in the front bar where there was live acoustic music, which was very enjoyable. Within a minute a young lady came over and wiped down the tables, collected the empty glasses and plates. The service we received was efficient and the staff very friendly. Even the chef made slight amendments to the menu to meet our dietary requirements. After having 'enough' food and wine the team arranged for the courtesy bus to get us home safely. Well done !
I’ll come back again and again for this steak sandwich! Amazing .. steak cooked medium rare and the flavours just burst in your mouth with every bite. Great menu and great place to go for some pub grub
Came for lunch on a Saturday. We were there at 12pm and it was quiet. We sat in the outdoor area with nice ambience. We had the pork belly and pork ribs. Pork belly was great, good crackling and the sides of vege and mash with mushroom sauce was also lovely. The pork ribs however wasn't good. The sauce was too sweat and meat was hard.
Entree sourdough bread 2 pieces , main pork belly with mash and veges i picked the Diane sauce which was a bad choice didnt compliment the pork. Pork was yummy nice tender and crackling superb. Friend had the barramundi and also mash n veges big portions and she had no complaints. We shared a chocolate walnut cake with ice cream this was good. Overall nice meal
Pretty good experience. I expected a tired pub but it was fresh and airy inside.
I ordered the pork belly as one of my restaurant favs. I wasn't disappointed but I wouldn't rush back for the meal. Perhaps I would order a more balanced meal next time. It seemed a little too heavy. I should have ordered a side salad as well.

Dinner With Friends. Friendly staff, great quality/pricing in food, open to all ages...I reccomend a visit to Miranda Hotel Bistro for a great meal and a friendly shire vibe
Great food, great cocktails in the new outdoor area, which is open air but with shade. Love the refurb, the place looks a million bucks!
