Came here on Sunday for a family lunch for 6.
The service was impeccable, the ambience great and the food to die for.
We ordered a whole heap of entrees to share because they all looked so appealing and after ordering the fried rice and two mains the waiter suggested that might be enough and we could always order more later.
The servings were very generous and we ended up taking food home.
I got the bill and nearly fell over, it was such great value.
We'll be back again and again. Thank you.
Note: Get the Shaking Beef....
Had to laugh at the first review, no wonder you didn't like the Chinese food - this is a VIETNAMESE restaurant, they don't make Chinese food! Two different cuisines. Like giving a French restaurant a bad review because they didn't serve good Italian pasta!
If you like Vietnamese food the takeaway here is delicious, the delicate and refined Vietnamese flavours are absolutely delightful. The 'Shaking Beef' was simply the best takeaway meat we'd ever had. Highly recommend the 'fresh grilled pork summer roll', they were delicious. Food is so fresh and high quality. Best to try their more unique dishes as the flavours are excellent. Cant wait to dine in and try some more of their exciting dishes like the 'sizzling Vietnamese pancake'.
Whist I live locally, I have never dined here until one Sunday the Mexican restaurant next door was closed so my friend and I went next door to Orange. A lot of their wine and beer was out of stock but it wasn’t needed as the food took you on a journey by itself. I have honestly not had spring rolls that good EVER and I am 65. The salt prawns were incredible as was the soft shell crab. There are no photos as the smell of the food when presented just made you want to eat. Highly recommended.
Good food and mood lighting. The beef pho is standard but delicious and the tom yum style noodle soup was great as well!
Food was great, a little chilly near the door. But it is the Southern Highlands in the middle of winter
This place is no doubt one of my favorite fine dining Vietnamese restaurant.
I had sizzling beef, meat stuffed crispy skin chicken and mango/papaya salad and they are all spot on with richness in flavours.
The sauce and seasoning compliment well with each other while retaining some hints of taste of the ingredients of the dish. Truly well balanced and recommended for someone who has reduced sense of smell and taste.
For future road trips, I am now more inclined to go down south since I know a place where I can treat myself a good meal.
This is my second review of this restaurant as we have been going here for years since they opened and its our favourite asian restaurant in the highlands. We very frequently go here, as do my parents and also my daughter and her friends. The quality of the ingredients they use, especially the meat, is exceptional. The flavour and quality is always consistant (we have been here for both lunch/dinner and weeknights/weekends) the staff so pleasant, and the pricing very reasonable considering the high quality. I'd highly recommend the Tony's Chicken Roll, Grilled Fresh Pork Roll's and the Shaking Beef - its the only asian restaurant Ive been to where the beef is cut into large cubes (instead of thin and overcooked shrivelled strips) and is so succulent and cooked perfectly medium, absolutely delicious! All the dishes here are so fresh and as mentioned use such quality ingredients. Definately worth going to and never disappoints!
Lovely Vietnamese Restaurant! Stuffed chicken is a must have
4th time back. Might be the best restaurant between Canberra and Sydney by the value of the food!!
Always good service and quality food. One of my favourite restaurants in Mittagong.
