Yummo, and very generous serves, chips are too good!
We were really lucky they were open on a public holiday. The potato cakes were good, large chips were quite generous, and quite possibly the cheapest South Melbourne Market dimmies I have EVER seen @ $1.80 each.
We had our lunch here before heading to Puffing Billy Railway.
The fish and chips were great and the price was reasonable.
You could choose to have the food outside the table or take away.
The surrounding area was tranquil and we spent a good time while taking our lunch here.

I only really order the pack for one there. It is incredible. Everything is crispy and flavour.
Great scallops and fish and chips with friendly service and we always happen to find not just one extra but up to a couple potato cakes!!
As we work nearby and only have 30 minutes on lunch break, we can always phone up ahead of time to order our food and it'll be ready by the time we arrive even paying by cash.
Definitely recommend if you haven't tried this place before!
Literally the best chips on this earth, and equally ground breaking potato cakes. As a vego I can’t vouch for the fish at all but I’m telling you, this place has the most consistently incredible potatoes you will ever find. The most crunchy and beautifully deep fried chips and potato cakes with good service and yes, they are the type to sneak an extra potato cake or two into your box which is an added bonus as always. Would be happy to develop heart disease off their potatoes, can absolutely recommend.
