We were really lucky they were open on a public holiday. The potato cakes were good, large chips were quite generous, and quite possibly the cheapest South Melbourne Market dimmies I have EVER seen @ $1.80 each.

We had our lunch here before heading to Puffing Billy Railway. The fish and chips were great and the price was reasonable. You could choose to have the food outside the table or take away. The surrounding area was tranquil and we spent a good time while taking our lunch here.
