This place definitely exceeded my expectations. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff member who made us feel welcome and gave us a large table next to the stage so our kids had room to run around and play. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely as well. I will definitely be going back! The barramundi was amazing 😊
we are regulars here and the menu has some staples along with specials. The salmon is always beautifully cooked and I love their veggies (that cumin on the carrots is yummy). Lamb rump was delicious and I see they have the chicken kiev back on the winter menu. Best service locally and good live music on a friday night. Just with they'd bring back the eye fillet steak....
Thank you for a lovely meal. We came as part of a group celebrating a birthday on Sunday night and it was so lovely to have a venue where it was quiet (there was music in the background) - I mean in terms of - we could all talk to each other without yelling. There is a lot to be said for carpet on floors of venues. Was also lovely to see fresh flowers on each table (we often see plastic). Staff extremely friendly and our meal was good. I had a lovely lamb rump with polenta, spinach and an eggplant jam. Hubs cheesecake was delicious.
A nice quiet (most times) venue to enjoy a meal - I attend regularly, the staff are friendly and attentive - the drinks are reasonably priced - the food is most times delicious, although a tad over priced. They have like a rotating roster of roasts of the day, the pork belly is divine EVEN THOUGH the skin is not crispy, usually I can't stand it without crispy skin, but this one is absolutely delicious! They cook an awesome steak YUM - the chicken camembert is divine YUM - overall the menu is a little light on choice but all the food is really nice. I recommend a visit. Oh parma night on Wednesdays is GOOD value.
I dined at the bistro on Friday night and enjoyed my chicken scallopini immensely. The staff are very attentive and gave excellent service. I’m looking forward to coming back again soon!

Great location in the centre of Monbulk, great atmosphere, helpful staff , and a varied menu, backed by a good selection of Beer, Wines & Spirits, &. Softdrinks they manage to cater for family groups well, no- one feels left out. An intimate dinner for two or a family Birthday, Monbulk Bistro does it well at an affordable price, and never feel crowded.
Good food, simple surrounds, excellent service. And if you get here at the right time, you can watch a game of bowls...
