Awesome souvlaki here, if youre looking for a nice meaty garlic sauce souva i recommend this place. Also stupidly cheap 7.50 for a meat packed lamb souv pretty decent if you ask me

Pretty good turn around. I havnt been here for a while because of many disapointing visits in the past . however i decided to give this shop another go after recently finding out there are new family owners and im glad i did. quality of the food is much better and prepared/ cooked when you order not like others where they have precooked old food waiting to be reused. I also now see them making potato cakes fresh daily(how they should be). Im happy to wait for my food to be cooked fresh instead of getting instant crap elsewhere. The pricing is still very cheap which is good but an updated menu will go a long way. So very well done guys keep up the good work.

Best Fish and chips in the northern suburbs!! have recommended to all friends and family, such friendly staff, food is delicious and good value for money! Monty fish and chips have come along way and they have nailed it!

Great Fish and Chips pretty decent value for money. staff are friendly batter is cripsy which is good my go to shop after i get off the training waiting home.

Flake is really nice and batter is awesome and crispy not soggy like other shops the customer service was great friendly people always giving extras lol so thats a bonus

Seems like there's new owners here thought I give them a try and was actually impressed with the upkeep of the shop so much cleaner and fresh looking. Potato cakes they make them selves are really good and and the fish is actually the fish you ask for now. Hope they keep this up looking forward to my lunch breaks now!!

Finally new owners fixed up the place has fresh paint and food is alot better been telling previous owner to fix up the place for ages. Burger with the lot I had was great I recommend burger pack if you go there that's what I got.

Not a bad fish n chip store. The fellas seem pretty nice. Got my food really quick also. Quality of the beef burger could be better. Apart from that. Kudos!

great fish and chips made fresh on each order. potato cakes are amazing can not be compared haven't had ones like that in years. very friendly service and team. great local small business. was happy to wait for my order as they do get busy especially Friday nights. considering how rough this year was on all of us I think its great this shop pushed through for the locals. will be back!

Incredible. Good Lord, the souvlaki, calamari rings and potato cakes are hands down the best around. Great job Monty fish and chips

We have just found this fish and chip shop and for the first 3 weeks we got the crispiest battered fish and the chips were the same crunchy and delicious we were delighted to have found a really good chippy but this Friday we went and ordered the same but it was awful the chips tasted like they had been reheated they were dry inside and not crunchy at all.The grilled flake I had I couldn't eat it was dry and hard and the battered flake was the same dry and not fresh at all.We ordered early around 5pm so we are going to order later this week and hopefully get a lot fresher fish and chips I think when you order early you may be getting yesterdays that wasn't used up.Fingers crossed it's good this week as good fish and chip shops are hard to find.

Prepared to travel the extra distance...they use the best oil and their fish 'n chips are delicious. No bad aftertaste the next morning. Of the three local fish 'n chiperies, they are our goto...seriously👍😀
