My favourite dish in the world is a Panang Curry.. So I fancy myself a bit of an expert. Ton Khao Bistro has one of the best panangs I've tasted. Obviously, there's some other fantastic dishes too such as their pad Thai or steamed seafood stir fry. But often Thai curries can be too tangy/sour or on the other side too sweet. But this curry was absolutely beautiful! Right down the middle, spicey and deep in flavour but also the light curry you love. Also comes beautifully displayed and with great sides. Exquisite meals. But that's just the start. No expense has been spared. Especially with tables and seating. Gorgeous dining experience with comfort! And I'm all about great vibes and they've created an amazing vibe with their lighting and open floor space that encourages great conversation, connection and complements the already stunning owners and staff. All round local heroes!
Excellent Thai cuisine. Nice atmosphere. The young wait staff were friendly and efficient. They have Singha and Asahi beer on tap in nice cold frosted handles. Food came out within a reasonable time . My only small gripe is that the first main dish arrived then was several minutes before the coconut rice and other main dish arrived . All in all an enjoyable experience and would def come back

The food was amazing! I had the char grilled prawn, BBQ chicken, crispy pork fried rice and Yo Yog - A Japanese craft beer. The food was very tasty and reasonable prices for such a place I would say. Can't wait to go back and try the fried Barra and other dishes!
Had lunch today the food was excellent the BEST Asian food I have tasted. The service was great food and drinks really well priced. This is a place we will come to again and again so very impressive. Highly recommend
Booking is essential. It's busy so it may take 30-40min to get your order. Staff did check up on us and bring additional drinks. I had the whole buramundi and it was tasty and fragrant. If you come to mooloolaba I recommend visiting this place as they have a menu that deliveres a variety of thai/asain flavors.
We just landed in Mooloolaba and fancied a simple Thai. When googling for local Thai quite a few came up but chose this place. I liked that it’s off and away from the beachfront. We booked and was warmly welcomed. The young Thai waiter was so friendly and attentive but the food was easily the standout. Every dish (Roti Chicken, Moo Ping, Crispy pork and Duck) were absolutely stunning. We were very nearly licking the plates. Add to that the value was amazing, two courses, two rounds of drinks for $100. Most likely will return before we leave.
Cozy and beautiful restaurant, with one of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The massaman beef is divine highly suggested, and the price is super fair. Recommended for a date or having some food with friends or family.
