Lunchtime queues indicate what this place is about. Great Vietnamese takeaway. Chicken or pork bahn mi. I regularly order the fried rice and chicken. Don't forget to add plenty of their addictive chilli. If you are a local and haven't given this a shot: you are missing out!
At $7 each the pork rolls are starting to creep up there in price, but I don't think there are any outside Footscray/Richmond/Springvale that are better.
Wow! This was unexpectedly GREAT! Fresh bbq chicken roll. I usually drive to Footscray for the best rolls but this was awesome. Highly recommended 👊🏻✌🏻👊🏻
This has been my favourite banh mi place for many years and when I have a free day during the week, its often where you will find me. The meat is always freshly cooked and the condiments used really bring this basic roll to the next level. I have really been enjoying their chicken dumplings of late too- steamed chicken dumplings smothered in chili and spring onion oil. My mouth is literally watering thinking about them. The décor is nothing to rave about and the ladies there are too flat out to be overly concerned with exceptional customer service but that's not what Minh's is about- its just about the food.
Absolute favourite take-away place to go. Fresh delicious rolls that are so well priced. Their chicken dumplings are to die for. And, also other dishes like rice with chicken is pretty good portion and great value for the price. You might have to wait a bit for service if they are a bit busy but, seriously i dont mind the wait. Just love the dumplings & rolls there! Amazzzing!!!
Excellent Banh mì, one of the best I've experienced in Melbourne. Fresh, crunchy rolls with excellent pork and fresh ingredients. The line is always going out the door around lunchtime.
Nice Chicken or Pork bánh mì, they have warm tiger rolls which is a nice touch. The rice paper rolls are also good especially if freshly made.

Minh's did not disappoint. I used to live in Springvale South and had yet to find a Bahn Mi that felt like "home".
I had the chicken Bahn Mi with the lot. Loved the authentic Vietnamese fillings with the pickled carrots, daikon, cabbage, coriander, cucumber and chilli. Also came with a home made chilli oil paste and sauces. I will definitely be back!
This may very well be my new favourite Bahn Mi joint in the area.
Tried my first Vietnamese coleslaw with pork. Amazing! Tender meat and good serving size.
Place is small, most people come here for take away banh mi.
Long queues during lunch time.
Edit: i missed to add that this place doesnt skimp on the young mango in the coleslaw, while some places give very little or none at all.
Hands down the best banh mi we've ever had. Warm roll! Pork moist. Ingredients in perfect proportion. Oh boy. Every visit to Melbourne will come by here now
Best Bahn Mi around for miles! I don’t live in Moone Ponds, but will often make a special trip just for the crispy pork Bahn mi. Yuuuummmmm
There was a crispy pork special banh mi when we went there, which we got of course. Very well done, very crunchy with the fat rendered down. Beautifully flaky baguette. We also appreciated the extra detail of the herbs being cut up into small pieces so you didn't wind up pulling out a whole stalk of coriander in your first bite. No pate, but there was enough sauce to make it flavourful.
Bloody fantastic. Ace BBQ pork roll, so tasty!

Very popular take away. Prices are a little expense for the chicken pho. Beef was not available on the Monday and the prawn tasted a little strange.
