I love this place! It reminds me of a Chinese cafe of the 80's very retro. Food is amazing. Staff are always accommodating. For a quick lunch I will buy the pork roll, so filling and only $4.50. Food is always fresh and only cooked to fill the traffic flow of customers. Normally a few people in for lunches. Great place would recommend.

Serving portions are more than adequate especially given how much it typically costs.
My favourites are the fried rice, sweet & sour pork, lemon chicken and the Mongolian beef.
Staff are always friendly and hospitable. Honestly, my favourite Chinese food in the area and I always recommend this place to friends and family!
EDIT: Been reading some negative comments and some make some fair points regarding decor (still a clean place though)... Otherwise, I should note if you're a snob, don't expect much! Otherwise, great food for a great price!
Possibly one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. The food is fresh, hot, old school and tasty. I've read some reviews saying that the decor is dated but who cares, it actually adds charm and I would happily eat this food in a cold garage, it's that good!
Good, yummy, normal (as in not instagramable) homely food, run by an old couple. Aw my heart, it's melting. They should jump onto the online takeaway train though.
Young's Hong Kong Cafe is good, simple Chinese food that comes with friendly service and is truly excellent value. The portions are generous that 2 mains and an order of their wonderful fried rice is enough for dinner as well as lunch the next day for my husband and I.
Traditional simple Chinese food (I say that like it's a positive). If you have kids who are a little fussy this is a good introduction to Chinese food. Anyone would enjoy the fried rice.
This restaurant is great for old school Aussie Chinese food - special fried rice, lemon chicken and the dim sims are always amazing. Not for those looking for a 5-star experience, but a great place to enjoy some Chinese food with the family over a bottle of wine.
Surprisingly good. Very modest decor. Looks more suited to takeaway than dine-in. Enjoyed the meat-based and vegetarian dishes, not so much the scallops. Price very reasonable. All in all, I recommend it for a simple but satisfying meal!
Excellent Chinese!. Love this place. Go at least once a fortnight. It is never that busy, which is such a shame because the food is seriously tasty. Bought my folks here when they visited from overseas. They are normally fine dining snobs, and kinda turned their noses up when we arrived. But once they started eating they loved it! Ended up coming back again for dinner with them (2 out of 4 nights they were here). Anyway this place is DEFINITELY worth looking past the decor. Try the chefs special chicken. I assure you, for the price it will blow your mind.....
