Awesome quirky cafe we were just driving around trying to find somewhere to hafev a nice coffee and found a little hidden gem perfect coffee great friendly staff
An amazing food and drink experience in a venue that oozes retro cool. Thoroughly recommend. That chicken burger rocked the jocks!
Really delicious pumpkin bruschetta. Everything made from scratch and super tasty. I did not want to eat a hamburger so was pleasantly surprised with this tasty breakfast. Coffee good too.
Really good coffee which is always a priority for me! Then the food is really good too, massive portions and tasty. Very reasonable prices too. The staff are lovely and friendly and service is always excellent. The decor is interesting, mish mash of kitch furniture and the kitchen is an inbuilt caravan but it is also warm and comfortable.
Getting a car repair and came across this. If I was going to make a cafe, this would be close. Love it. Not to mention that upon walking in I had two wait staff greet and seat me, and coffee in hands within 3 mins.
Attention to detail is amazing. Building is an old car garage, memorabilia all over the place. VW bug in very nice nic sitting pretty, 80s BMX Bike’s hanging from the ceiling, furniture that looks like it was stolen from my grandparents house (Granpa looked after everything meticulously)
Staff very friendly, relaxed and just doing all things great staff do. Kitchen is an old retro caravan.
Rating given solely on coffee, staff and venue. So can’t say anything about the food, but happy to come back.
Really great coffee, milk shakes, lunch choices and 'mighty fine' burgers. Love the eclectic collections of VW, Car, Toys, etc on the walls & roof too, very cool! Thanks Guys
Pretty busy cafe with veerery coool retro decor!!! Opposite a brothel :) haha
The classic DakDak Burger, comes with wedges... pretty good all rounder burger with a thick patty that is medium rare and some burnt crispy bits! Yum!! Also not over powered by salt!! The choice of going with a normal bun was prob a good idea rather than brioche. Otherwise at the end of it you could feel quite heavy. But as is it is just perfect. I would come back for it!!!
Apparently the breakfast here is a must try. So will def be back soon.
Great little place for breakfast and coffee. It can get very busy on weekends here. The only down side is you can end up smelling quite greasy afterwards.
Ive been to dak dak on several occasions, and it never disappoints. I love this place, the food is great and so is the service. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs!
2nd visit and this place has really turned around. From a place I thought I would never visit has now become one of my favourite places. Well done guys, took the user feedback on board and have really upped your
Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great tasting food make this a great option for breakfast or lunch. Always look forward to coming back and trying something I haven't before.
Great food. An interesting, relaxed place with Tons of memorabilia. Prices are about the same as most places for breakfast serving this level of elaborate food.
Great Brunch! Large portions! Feels like you’re sitting in your pops garage enjoying a good Sunday!
It’s a true blast from the past!

The only thing I would change is a bit more melted Swiss cheese.

Ben created a jewel in the heart of Moorabbin. Amazing food, the best coffee around and an atmosphere that’s hard to find these days. You’re made to feel like part of the family when you walk in and you always get greeted with a smile Sam or Hilary. They have an amazing chef tucked away in the kitchen that turns out brilliant food. Highly recommend this place.
Love love love this place! Great food, great service from the friendly fun staff - all in a funky factory environment. Lots of cool Retro art work and collectibles and Car memorabilia to look at while you are there. The best part is the awesome tasting fresh food and great coffee - highly recommended.
This is one of my favourite cafe's in Melbourne. It has a really cool interior decked out with retro and interesting art. The food and coffee is top quality and the guy that owns it is a legend - and same with all the staff!
I don't usually consider myself a coffee person, I'll just drink whatever, BUT.....the coffee here is amazing and I've found myself detouring to this cafe to buy more. Staff are great also, very friendly and chatty. Cafe is cool too, plenty to look at like the caravan kitchen etc. Highly recommend!!
A cosy place with lots of nostalgia. The pistachio and raspberry croissant is great. Kid friendly
